Permit #17STR-1411 The space This is a typical New Orleans shotgun-style apartment. It has a double parlor with pocket doors between the front two rooms. The Living Room has a couch and 2 chairs. The next room is a bedroom with a twin over full bunk bed and a table with 4 chairs. The top bunk is better suited for children rather than adults. There is a small hall with a closet. The next bedroom includes two side tables with drawers and a dresser. Please note: there are no doors in the bedroom or in the small hall leading from the living room to the bedroom. The kitchen is well-stocked for cooking. The washer and dryer are located in the kitchen. The backyard is shared with the permanent tenant on the other side of this double. There is a covered front porch with a bistro table and 2 chairs. There is a wrought iron table and 4 chairs in the backyard. As a shotgun-style apartment you walk through each room to get to the next. The front room is the living area, the second room has the dining table and full/twin bunk bed, then there is a small hall and the bathroom with a door, then the next room is the queen bedroom and the kitchen is in the back. there is no door between the bedroom and the hall that connects it to the two front rooms. There are 4 steps leading up to the front porch. Parking is on the street. You can usually park pretty close, but it is a busy neighborhood with lots of restaurants so during peak business parking is more crowded. Guest access You will have access to the entire apartment. This house is a double so there is a permanent tenant on the other side. There is a private front and back door. The backyard is shared and fenced. There is no onsite parking - parking is on the street.
