Description

The Fairways at Mauna Lani is a luxury gated community located in the prestigious Mauna Lani Resort located on the sunny Kohala Coast of the Big Island. There are 2 Golf Courses, 6 Tennis Courts, Spa & Sports Fitness Club, & Private Beach Club. The space The Town home is 1631 square feet on the North Course and is very private. It was furnished by an interior designer with a tasteful island feel and the kitchen has everything you would need to cook as this is our second home and have it stocked for entertaining. There is a Viking gas barbecue and wet bar on the lanai with a table and 4 chairs overlooking the golf course. The dining room can seat up to 8 guests and there are 3 Bar Stools. The Master bedroom is very spacious with a lovely sitting area with a chaise, private lanai overlooking the golf course, large master bath with whirlpool tub, separate toilet room, separate roomy walk in shower, double sinks with granite counter tops, and plenty of closet space. The guest bedroom can be set up as a King or 2 Twin XL Beds and it has its own bathroom with a tub/shower combination and single sink with granite counter. The pool at the Fairways has a baby area, waterfall, & Jacuzzi. There is a full workout facility on property at no cahrge for your convenience. The Fairways is next door to the Fairmont Orchid and also close to the Mauna Lani Bay Hotel so if you don't want to spend the money on the hotel and want to have a kitchen to cook some meals, consider staying at our Villa. (Many of our guests have been on island for a conference or a wedding and chose to stay in our comfortable roomy Villa instead of at the hotels.) Guest access You will have access to the entire town home, garage, pool, fitness center, & Beach Club. There is a lock box on the property so you can arrive any time of day or night. Check in is at 4:00 but if possible we can accommodate earlier check ins. * Beds: 1 Cal King, Guest Bedroom can be configured as a Cal King Bed or 2 Twin XL Beds, Port a Crib, 2 19 1/2" height Airbeds for possible use if I agree to the extra people. * Children's Accessories: High Chair, Plastic plates and utensils, Umbrella Stroller, & Pack & Play, Beach Toys, Noodle for the pool or beach, children's books * Garage for 1 Car and additional parking available * Beach Necessities: Beach Chairs, beach umbrella, boogie boards, coolers, and beach towels * Pool & Hot Tub: Community pool with a baby area and hot tub on site and gated * Fitness Room: An extensive line of equipment and a TV to help pass the time * BBQ: Viking gas grill with a sink and overlooking the golf course * Phone & Internet: Unlimited long distance to US and Canada on a landline. Free wireless internet *Miscellaneous: 3 LCD TV's (1 is a smart TV) 3 DVD Players, Ihome for your ipod, stereo system for CD's & radio, some CD's and DVD's, assorted games and a large book library. Leave a book and take a book! *Kitchen & Other Supplies: All Cookware like you would find at home, coffee maker, coffee grinder, blender, toaster, cuisinart, many spices, iron, hair dryers Included is a Basic Start up Supply of laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, garbage bags, sponge, liquid soap, dishwasher tabs, paper towels, toilet paper, shower liquid soap, shampoo & conditioner. If the supply runs out, guests are on their own to purchase additional supplies if needed. A 100% reservation deposit is due and payable with the signed contract. VRBO handles $500 Security Deposit if needed. It is not collected at the time of booking. If cleaning or repair expenses must be incurred by Landlord to restore the premises to the condition they were in at the time of Tenant’s occupancy, the amount necessary for said restoration will be deducted from the cleaning fee and the security deposit and the balance, if any, will be refunded to Tenant. Hurricane or Storm Policy: No refunds will be given; we highly recommend you purchase travel insurance. Landlord may accommodate renter at their discretion to accommodate changes due to a Hurricane or Storm Warning if it does not interfere with other renters. Travel Insurance: We highly recommend you purchase travel insurance. If you wish to purchase travel insurance, go to www.InsureMyTrip.com for details and to purchase. Signed contract must be received within 48 hours. It is further mutually agreed between the parties as follows: 1. Check-in time 4:00 pm and check-out time is 10:00am. Please check for availability of variances. I offer a late check out for $75.00 + $10.82 Tax if there is no back to back. 2. NO SMOKING is allowed inside the town home. 3. Within one hour of check-in, tenant will notify Landlord of any notable conditions or damages found upon arrival. 4. Tenant agrees to notify Landlord of any damage caused during their stay immediately and will assume full responsibility for any damage. Initial_____________ 5. Landlord shall provide Tenant with the following: Cooking utensils and kitchen equipment Linens and bedding 9. Landlord shall not be liable for any damage or inconvenience due to weather conditions, temporary discontinuance of power and/or cable services. A refund is of the sole discretion of the Landlord. 10. It is expressly understood and agreed that the Landlord shall not be liable for any damages or injury to the tenant or his family or their friends nor to his family’s property from whatever cause arising from occupancy of said premises by Tenant and his family or friends. It is further understood and agreed that Landlord shall not be responsible for any personal property left by Tenant in said premises however; Landlord will do their best to return to the Tenant any items left. 11. Tenant agrees to pay for rekeying if the front door keys are not left on premises upon departure. Replacement cost for pool & workout keys is $250.00. 12. Tenant agrees to pay $100.00 to replace the beach access card. 13. Tenant agrees to follow the check-out procedures as stated on the instructions. 14. This rental agreement and any modifications, including any photocopy or fax, may be signed in one or more counterparts, each of which will be deemed an original and all of which taken together will constitute one and the same instrument. 15. Landlord, Gail Baker is a California Licensed Real Estate Agent. Landlord, Dave Giacomini is a California Licensed Real Estate Broker. 16. Tenant agrees to turn off the air conditioner when not at home and tenant agrees to not run the air any lower than 75 degrees.
