Built with brick, stucco, tile floors, and high ceilings, it opens to a lush park with tropical plants and fruit trees. It's a peaceful retreat, surrounded by a 50-acre forest, a seasonal stream, and quiet neighbors. Expect wildlife like geckos and insects; for a manicured stay, consider South Shore resorts. Neighborhood Haiku blends tranquility with proximity to attractions. Restaurants and shops are a 6-minute drive away; Paia’s Mana Foods is 10 minutes. Enjoy Haiku Cannery’s Nuka Sushi, Colleen’s, or Paia’s Ahonui food truck. Surf Jaws, hike Makawao Forest, zip-line at Piiholo Ranch, or visit beaches like Hookipa and Baldwin. Fruit Trees No fruit picking from our trees, please. We host about 600 guests yearly. Building Three private studios in one dwelling, separated by 10 ft, noise-proof brick hallways, each with a unique entrance. Bedroom One california king (medium-soft), one firm sofa bed, one twin bed. Bathroom Private with bathtub, shower, toilet, bidet, sink, towels, toilet paper, soap, shampoo/conditioner. Bedding/Towels One set per bed/guest, plus beach towels. Dining Table for four. Kitchen Four burners, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, utensils, and dishware for four. Laundry Free 9 AM–7 PM; bring detergent. Internet/TV Starlink (200 Mbps down) with smart TV. Electricity County-provided; outages are not our responsibility. Beach Gear Chairs, boogie boards, and toys may be in the laundry room; return after use. Conduct No loud music, parties, or disturbances (quiet hours 7 PM–10 AM). Discuss events in advance. Other things to note Please note that our complimentary welcome supplies are not replenished during your stay. We also ask your help in preventing lingering food odors from cooking meats, fish, or poultry. Cover pans, protect the oven, and clean thoroughly to avoid smells.
