We recommend renting a car, though, to make the short drive to Hanalei, the Bay, the NaPali Coast, Tunnels and the many hikes and sites on the north shore. The Nihilani development is pristine and tranquil. Walk a few minutes through gorgeous tropical foliage to the lava rock surround pool with waterfall, jacuzzi and BBQ area. Bike trails through out Princeville take you to Queen's Bath, the St. Regis, the trail to Hideaway's Beach, the shopping center or to any of the lookout spots with breath-taking views of the ocean and mountains.
