Near hiking trails, bus lines. One and a half blocks to public bus stop to town (2.5 miles away) and colleges (Umass is 3.5 miles away). or Off-street parking. IN BOTH CASES, WE NEED TO KNOW IN ADVANCE. UMass campus is three and a half miles from my home. Amherst college and downtown Amherst are two and a half miles away. Hampshire College is about five miles from here. Smith College and Mt. Holyoke College are about 10 miles away. There’s a hiking trail about one block away: down the hill of Duxbury Lane, turn left. You’ll see a sign for the Robert Frost Trail about a block away on your right. I’ve left several brochures from local indoor, outdoor, kid-related and restaurant listings, and music and theater venues. Just ask if you’d like suggestions for fun day trips including the Bridge of Flowers and natural Ice Age potholes in Shelburne Falls or the Three Sisters Sanctuary in Goshen. Also, in Deerfield, there are tours of historic homes and the Yankee Candle Company’s huge flagship store in Deerfield, as well as a butterfly museum. There are buses nearby that take you down town and to local campuses and Northampton. Check Pioneer Valley Transit for schedules and bus stops. There is also a nearby hiking trail and great bike trail from Belchertown to Northampton. I provide most toiletries and a hair dryer. Kindly refrain from using heavily scented perfumes or other products.
