This beautiful, one bedroom, one bath condo is located at the Hawaiian Princess in Makaha. It is absolutely beachfront and is on a higher floor with a breath-taking ocean-sunset view. One of the best on the planet. The unit has been very well maintained. It features a king bed, sofa sleeper, full kitchen, 2 TVs and beach equipment. NOTE: This condo building is going to be undergoing some renovation work at the beginning of October for approximately 2 - 3 months. It will take place on the walkways (not beachside) and there may be some noise associated with it. This will take place during work hours on weekdays when most folks are out enjoying the island or beach anyway. It is unknown at this time when or if the work will be taking place near the condo. If that does happen and you decide that you would like to leave, I will issue a pro-rated refund for any nights that you vacated early, so that you can find accommodations elsewhere. This high-floor beachfront condo at the Hawaiian Princess comes complete with a spectacular sunset ocean view from the lanai. The condo has not been remodeled but has been nicely maintained and updated. Amenities include a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel fridge. The bathroom has a tub with shower. The bedroom features a King-size bed with a tropical quilt and shams. The living room has been decorated in tropical colors and rattans. It has a comfortable queen-size sofa sleeper and dining set. The unit also has 2 flatscreen TV’s, air conditioning, new front loading washer and dryer, beach equipment and everything else that you need for your stay in paradise including free WIFI. There is also a pool, hot tub, game room, BBQ area and secure, gated and free parking. Best of all, it is directly on one of the best beaches on the island. Also, this is the sunny, leeward side of the island where the weather is almost always perfect. This is a one bedroom condo with access to the pool, hot tub, bbq area, recreation room, etc. We know that guests like their space and are looking for privacy. We also know that if help is needed there will be someone there to assist. We live just a five minute drive from the Princess so if you need anything, we are just a phone call away. Away from the crowds of Waikiki. Although there are grocery stores and some restaurants close by, this is not where tourists commonly visit. The highlight of this destination is the beach - one of the very best on the island. A rental car is highly recommended, but the building is close to bus service. Parking is secure and free. This part of the island is a mixture of socio-economic backgrounds. We have multimillion dollar homes mixed with lower income housing and unfortunately, some homeless camps. There are camps on the west side because of the great weather, but there are homeless all over the island, especially in the big city. The average price of a home is well over a million dollars here. That prices a lot of people out of paradise. That being said, you are much more likely to be a victim of a crime in Waikiki or at a tourist destination than you would be at the Hawaiian Princess. We are a gated and secure building. Most people leave their lanai doors open 24/7 to let the breeze come in and to hear the sights and sounds of the ocean. Just as an FYI, we live in the area, and we have never had an incident related to the homeless, except maybe someone holding a sign looking for a meal or a couple of dollars.
