Kona Shores Hawaii's most friendly Airbnb Complex!

Aloha! Welcome to Kona Shores! Our 2 queen bed, 1 bath that can sleep 6, condo is in the most welcoming airbnb complex in Hawaii. Our complex really embraces the vaca rental mentality! We also have the only condo community pool in Kona that is actually on the ocean. So between the welcoming atmosphere and the ocean front pool you can't have a better vacation starting point that this... well unless you hate Pineapples. Its the theme of our decorating! The space We have been hosting in Hawaii for 8 years now, so we have the experience to make your stay great! Every year we take feedback from our guests both good and bad and aim to improve our place. This year we reimagined the condo. Its still the same Place 99% of our guests loved.. but with some new guest friendly features! Read on! The First and most important change is TAXES are now included in the price! So no extra charge for hawaii tax anymore. The price you see is the price you pay. Our accountant said please don't do this.. but our guests come first! Brand new Air Conditioner! The last one was good .. this one is even better! Brand new Fridge and Stove! The old ones were well old and temperamental. .the new ones .. are well brand new!! Check out is now 11 am! We know how hard it is to get moving in the morning and pack up. We are giving you an extra hour to pack up! More flexible cancellations: Cancel up to 5 days before check in for no charge. Or if you know your coming book non refundable for a discount! Want to get away and work from home in paradise? We have upgraded wifi, as well as added an electrical outlet to the the lanai for the best place to work. Because nothing is better than working outside! Our space is small (about 600 sq ft) but has everything you need for a great Hawaiian Vacation! Amenities include a community OCEAN FRONT POOL and BBQ area!!!. This is the best airbnb pool in Kona as its the only pool directly on the ocean. Can't be beat! We have a small but fully equipped kitchen just updated with new appliances! If it doesn't have something please let us know.. we will do our best to get you it! Ultra fast and updated wifi, Roku Smart TV, cable through the spectrum app, private Lanai with new privacy bamboo!, NO STAIRS, assorted beach gear (giant box of the lanai... use whatever you find.. and if you get something new.. feel free to leave for our next guests.. its like a community beach bin!), App based or coin laundry on the property, 1 assigned parking space with additional guest parking potentially available (no oversized vehicles, contact if you have one and we will try to help you out) -Unbeatable Kailua-Kona Location - Steps from Ali'i Drive, Ocean access from the property with lovely tide pools, I saw an octopus last year!, Not recommended for swimming as its a bit rough.. but perfect for the sunset! Or rent a fishing pole and try fishing, just don't clean your fish in our condo!!!) The condo is 1 mile south of downtown and 2 miles North of magic sands beach! Grab a Kona Coffee from Green Flash next door and have a lovely morning stroll! its one of our favorite things to do! Or rent a bike from the bike rack across the street and bike to happy hour at Lava Java or Huggos on the Rocks! Pro tip.. the old airport beach is amazing. .and only 10 minutes from the condo! If you need more ask for our recommendations guide! The Big Island is home to unique landscapes and gorgeous wildlife so get exploring (its why its the best island!) Volcano National Park (LAVA Anyone!!!!), Manta Ray diving (a must), Mauna Kea observatory, and Waipo Valley are all amazing! LAST MINUTE BOOKINGS NOTICE: Hi all, we love being available for those than need last minute accommodation (within 48 hours of check in booking). In those cases please check with us before booking so we can make sure our team can get the place ready for you. Our local team is awesome but have requested that we check with them on last minute requests. 99% of the time its fine but we don't want to have you show up and it not be ready! So just check with us on the last minutes requests! Holiday Check in Notice (all major holiday!) Our cleaner is a wonderful local independent operator. Like all of us, she wants to spend the holidays with her family. If you check in on a holiday noted above, she will clean but will need to charge double. Note we do not keep any of the cleaning fee and 100% goes to her. Guest access Bedroom 1: Queen Bed | Bedroom 2: Queen Bed | Living Room: Couch If you are booking through this listing, you will have access to the whole apartment! Both bedrooms, living room with extra sleeping space and a full kitchen. The condo is equipped with Air Conditioning in the main room and ceiling fans in each room. As the condo is small the AC keeps the place pretty cool. Both bedrooms have access to the lanai in the back. Its a great place to have a coffee, do some work and just relax Guests also have access to the community pool and bbq area. THere are also tide pools that you can access below the pool at your own risk. The rocks are quite sharp down there but not to bad. I saw an octopus once in them!
