Stretching along a stunning bluff on the north shore of Kaua‘i, two hundred feet above the Pacific Ocean, this AAA Four Diamond-rated resort looks out beyond the cliffs to infinity, where the cooling mists of the sea are carried on the soft trade winds. Every sunset is flawless, every sunrise a moment to remember on the Garden Isle. These Villas sit high on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean so beach access is obtained via a resort sponsored free shuttle that takes you about 1.5 miles down the road to Hanalei Bay, Pacific Ocean beaches and the St. Regis Hotel pools, a sister property to the Villas which sits right by the water. You might want to do a search on St. Regis Hotel, Princeville to see how it looks. Other things to note In addition to the nightly $320 Airbnb fee and the $64 nightly Hawaii State General Excise Tax (GET) and Transient Accommodation Tax (TAT) which will be charged ($384 nightly total) to you upon booking by Airbnb, you will be charged an additional $11.37 nightly HI State TAT at the resort billed to the credit card that you submit upon check-in. On October 1, 2021 the county of Kaua’i begins charging an additional 3% tax (KTAT) which is included in the above amount. This is very excessive but it is Hawaii state law! Owner’s GET ID# is: GE-116-610-5088-01 and TAT ID# is: TA-116-610-5088-01. There is also a nightly parking fee of $18.85 for self parking and $20+ something for valet parking. We have reduced our nightly fee in an effort to share these high taxes. A single mid-week house cleaning is normally included with the reservation without additional charge. However due to Covid-19 this has been suspended. If extraordinary housekeeping is needed due to careless guest activities, extra charges for that will be assessed upon checkout as well.
