This 1950s rustic home is located five minutes from the center of Auburn. This property is situated on a quiet dead-end street. Five-minute drive to shopping malls and all major highways. 45 minutes to Boston & Wachusett ski area, 3 hrs to NY City and 1.5 hrs to Cape Cod. Enjoy 3,000 square feet of private and gorgeous living space at Pakachoag House. The entire house is lined with wooden floors that are padded with Persian-style rugs and adorned with historic, New England decor. The first floor (1500 SF) features a foyer, 3 cozy (yet spacious) sitting areas, a full kitchen, a dining area, and a half bath. Sliding French doors open up onto an expansive deck, where you are welcome to grill and dine in the open air on a glass dining table that seats six, all while shaded by a patio umbrella. Enjoy the sounds of nature and take in the scent of pine trees from the patio, all while having your breakfast. Or you can simply rest, relax, and read a book. All four bedrooms are on the second floor. Two out of the four bedrooms are EXTRA large and come with attached bathrooms. One of the bathrooms has a washer and dryer you can utilize. All four bedrooms are beautifully furnished, featuring coastal and countryside paintings and Americana collectibles. Enjoy the serene views through the various bedroom windows. We also provide fresh white towels, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, hand and body lotion, facial tissues, hand towels, and much more. The beds will always have clean sheets, covers, comforters, and pillowcases, and we make sure to thoroughly clean, sanitize, and replace these in between each guest. This is what we expect from a great hotel, and you can certainly get all of these features and more from Pakachoag House. The entire kitchen is available to cook your meals, chat, and sit down to enjoy dinner. The fridge is well stocked with starter supplies of fresh fruit juices, milk, bread, a wide assortment of cereals, butter, jams, and coffee for the guests to use. If you are into reading, there are plethora of books and magazines to entertain you. A TV is featured in the living room as well. Pakachoag House is nestled in a quiet neighborhood on a dead-end street which annexes a congregational church and recreational area. You can take quiet walks, hike, and relish in the beautiful New England surroundings. You can park in tandem two large vehicles (cars, SUVs, or pickups) on the driveway. You can also park on the street. However, during the winter (especially on snowy days), you have to remove the vehicle from the street and make room for town-plows to do their job. THE POOL IS NOT AVAILABLE ** Please note: we are sorry to say that for COVID and several other reasons, usage of pool is prohibited. However, guests can freely use the deck and the gas grill. ** ** Please also note that the primary guest and the accompanying guests are solely responsible for their safety when being at the house, the deck, use of the grill, safety around the pool, and the use of all household equipment. The host and his or her assigns are not liable whatsoever for any injuries or harm caused to guests by staying at this property and using all the amenities it has to offer ** Private access to 3000 square feet of private space on 1st and 2nd floors of the house; Kitchen (1), Dining (2), Living rooms (2), Family room (1), Bedrooms (4), all other areas including the deck, gas-grill and furniture on the deck. Note: Access to garage and basement is not available for guests. Both areas are used by the host. My husband and I will be available to provide any help at anytime. Auburn, Massachusetts is a beautiful, small American town. It is clean and safe too! Pakachoag House is in a very safe area on a dead-end street, surrounded by trees. The center of Auburn is just a 3-minute drive from our house. If you wish, you can walk to the town in 30 minutes! Find restaurants, pharmacies, supermarkets and shopping malls just under your noses!
