Welcome to Maui by the Sea on the North Shore of Maui, Hawaii! Maui by the Sea is a beautiful permitted vacation rental - an ideal ocean-view cottage located ocean front between Paia and Ho’okipa, on Maui's scenic and exciting North Shore With 25 years of experience, Maui By The Sea has always operated under a legal County of Maui permit and our current permit is valid through 2031. The space We have been operating since 2001. Our cottage is one of the rare, close to Paia with ocean view. Very cozy and private. We recently installed Central Air Conditioning. Guest access The property is ocean front, our home is on the ocean side and the cottage is on the road side. Of course our guests have access to the chairs and table located at the edge of the ocean. No beach access from the property as there are some big rocks sitting in front. But a beach is walking distance from here. Tavares Beach. Other things to note We ask our guests to read, sign and email back a Rental Agreement. We will need your email to send you the RA. Reservation is confirmed once we have received the initialed and signed rental agreement. Disclosure: Maui by the Sea Cottage sits off of Hana Highway (it is not a "highway" as mainlanders understand it, it is a 2 lane road). There can at times be excessive road noise. However, we have good insulation and have added central air conditioning to minimize the problem. We have a security camera installed in the garage.
