Aloha! Hawai'i Farm Retreats is a 25 acre Natural Farm, overlooking the expansive Pacific Ocean. You can stay in one of our new cottages or reserve all 3 to include your family and friends too. We are only 10 minutes from Hilo yet mentally miles away from the city- you will feel the open space and beauty that is Hawai'i here. Hilo's Farmer's Market, Restaurants, Beaches, Waterfalls and a Botanical Garden are only 10 minutes away. Except...you may not want to leave! Our new cottages have spacious lanais, comfortable reclining chairs, and a hammock with an incredible ocean view. There is a comfortable, queen size bed and private bathroom with shower and toilet. All linens and towels (including beach towels) are provided. A small refrigerator, large sink with ample counter space, hot water maker, cups and cutlery, complimentary coffee and tea. You may add an optional floor futon if you have a child. The entrance to all guest cottages requires walking on a short footpath from the parking area. The footpath is lighted. The 5 stairs to each cottage have handrails and are well lit. Our cottages are not wheelchair accessible. We look forward to greeting you upon your arrival, giving you a quick tour and then allowing you to enjoy your stay. We live next door and are available to answer any questions you may have during your stay. We want you to love it here as much as we do! Hawai'i Farm Retreats is part of a gated community and there is no crime. We are on the Hamakua Coast, close to many attractions. We will recommend our favorites! There are beautiful coastal walks within a short drive of 10 minutes. The views are gorgeous and you will take lots of pictures- you can see all the way to Kapoho, 30 miles away. You will need a rental car to access the many nearby attractions unless you'd like to just be here on a Personal Retreat. It is easy to take Uber for a quick trip into Hilo town during your stay. Public Bus Transportation is possible but very limited. If you would like Private Yoga Instruction, Jennifer is a certified instructor with 25 years of teaching experience. She will customize a Yoga session just for you. Please let us know if you would like to enjoy some Private Yoga during your stay. If you'd like a Massage during your stay, we have a licensed massage therapist that lives onsite. Please let us know and we'll schedule an appointment for you. We have a washer and dryer and can arrange for your use. We love our two dogs (Aumakua and Curly) and they may greet you-. They are friendly and just want to meet you! We are located on the lush east side of the Big Island. You will be serenaded to sleep by the coqui frogs that make a sweet, chirping sound.
