Located on the banks of a nationally designated Wild and Scenic River and 20 minutes away from Glacier National Park. Come enjoy all that Montana has to offer with a bright and beautiful private 2 bedroom/2 bathroom lower unit with large living room and dining alcove in a brand new custom-built home. Patio with access to and overlooking Flathead River. Only a short drive to stunning Glacier National Park and a few blocks from downtown Columbia Falls and attractions. The space The space is a beautiful private unit on the first floor of a two story home that was custom-built and completed in 2015. You have your own private entrance that leads to the open floor plan unit with lots of light and river views. Walking in you will see a large space that includes the living room, wet bar (mini fridges, coffee maker, microwave), and a breakfast alcove with river views and counter height tables/chairs. The living room has a leather couch, love seat, recliner, coffee and end tables. A 52" Phillips TV with Dish Satellite service. The outdoor space includes a paver patio area, BBQ gas grill, outdoor two burner stove available on request. The outdoor cooking area and appliances come ready to use. Outdoor dining furniture, recliners, sofa and coffee table with direct walkway access to a stone stairway down to the banks of the Flathead River is included. Bedroom #1 is a 13' x 15' suite with a queen bed and includes private full bathroom, desk and desk chair, standing wardrobe, night stands, bedside lamps & standing lamp, window views of the river. A private bathroom with a jetted tub/shower. Bedroom #2 is 9' x 20' and includes a queen bed, folding leather futon couch/bed, large open closet, and bedside table and lamp. Directly across the second bedroom is a large full bathroom with walk in shower with a built-in shower bench. Living room has sofa, love seat, recliner and wide screen TV. There is an alcove and wet bar/kitchenette area for food prep and dining which includes microwave, toaster , blender, coffee maker, electric kettle, and two mini fridges. Full outdoor cooking area. Guest access You will have private access to the entire lower portion of the house. When arriving, you simply walk along the path to the side of the house leading down towards the river and access your keys from the lockbox. All of your indoor and outdoor space is private. There is parking available for two vehicles (let me know if you need more space). Other things to note A major perk is that the house is located above the banks of a wild, glacial-fed river so please exercise caution when down by the river, especially children and non-swimmers. The wet bar/kitchenette is not intended for any open-flame cooking so a microwave and toaster are provided for indoor use. There is a BBQ gas grill directly outside the sliding glass doors on the paver patio for grilling and other cooking. An outdoor freestanding two burner stove is available on request. We only request they are left in the condition you found them. The home complies with local environmental mandates and has a specialized plumbing system with toilets than can only handle human waste and toilet paper. All other waste (including feminine hygiene products, wet wipes, diapers, Q-tips, trash, etc) must be disposed of in the trash can as any foreign objects will cause malfunction of the plumbing system.
