It has stunning ocean surfing waves in the winter and sunset views year round. This quiet island with few tourists is about 30 minutes by plane from Maui or Honolulu. You won't find a more private, beautiful paradise for your relaxing vacation in Hawaii and right on the ocean! Our guests rave about it! For parties of 2-4 people with adults being 25 years and older, this spacious (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) sq. ft. cottage provides the all the comforts of home to meet your vacation needs. Featuring island decor, it has a casual open interior layout with a large kitchen featuring stainless steel appliances, a large island and dining area. The kitchen is well stocked with tableware, cookware, and small appliances. The living area has an open high ceiling and a comfortable seating area with an huge ocean view and flatscreen television. The mainfloor bathroom has a separate double vanity area, and a large closet with full length mirrors. The toilet area has a standing shower, and full-size washer and dryer. From the living area, there is a spiral stair to the open loft queen bedroom with generous space for a second couple or family members. The living area opens to a covered lanai offering shade cover all day, outdoor seating and a dining table to enjoy west Molokai's best view of surf, surfers, sunsets, whales and tropical breezes. The mainfloor master bedroom has an ocean view from the master bed and a sliding door for privacy from the living area and bathroom. There are ventilated screens and ceiling fans throughout the cottage (no AC in this resort). A Community barbecue grill is a short walk from the cottage. We provide quality linens, beach towels, beach chairs, beach bag, and a cooler. The oceanfront resort pool is a short walk from the cottage. Wifi, cable television channels, pool with an ocean view, 3 gorgeous beaches within walking distance- Kepuhi Beach, Make Horse Beach and Papahaku Beach The contact information of our on-island caretaker is provided to guests for pressing needs. Since owners live off-island, we are available via email and phone. Our cottage 1B is located in one of 2 cottages located at the far end of Kepuhi Beach Resort, formerly known as Kaluakoi Villas. It is a side by side unit with 1A. The lawn in front of the lanai opens up to the beach and the former golf course with walking or biking paths to beaches beyond. Free Community buses come to the resort on a limited schedule, but car rental is highly recommended to really see the island. The main town is 25 minutes by car and where you will want to shop for groceries for your stay. Hele Mai Taxi is also available. Car rental available from the airport but requires advance booking (when you make your reservation with us , to insure availability). A convenience store with some groceries and souvenirs is located within the resort property. Bicycle rental available through Molokai Bicycle. Kaunakakai is the main town on the island and has full services- gas, groceries, several eating places and 2 bars, some shopping, and a wharf with water activity vendors.
