Humarock, also known as the 4th cliff of Scituate, is a peninsula bordered by the Atlantic Ocean and the South River. If you've ever been to the Jersey Shore, it is like that most important question of the day, 'the beach or the bay' except here it is the beach or the river, and depending on the tide, that can be a very important question! Our home is located near the southern most end of this peninsula, a two minute walk from the dunes, a natural, protected habitat nestled directly between the ocean and the river. The dunes can be enjoyed via a walking path. The house is one dune lot back from the beach. Beach access is a 100 yd walk to a private opening. You will enjoy OCEAN and RIVER VIEWS from the STEAMER CHAISES on the upper deck. You will enjoy the peaceful surrounding of the dunes and sunrise from the ADIRONDACKS on the lower deck, and views of SUNSET OVER THE RIVER from the front deck ROCKERS. There is an OUTSIDE SHOWER with enclosure, and a paved, fenced side area adjacent to the back deck. The area is great for walking, bike riding, rollerblading, etc as it is generally long and flat. Ice cream shops, restaurants, convenience store, gift shop, bait shop and marina's all within walking distance. You can walk the beach for miles, shell and fish to your heart's content.
