Ocean and Mountain View Condo

Located on a bluff overlooking the ocean, with spectacular views also of the North Shore mountains ,our tropically fully furnished condo is on the 2nd (top) level of Alii Kai 1. All water activities, golfing, hiking, are within short distance. The space The Alii Kai 1 development, where the condo is located is composed of only 59 individually owned units, included in 7 buildings on the property. In the winter months, you can watch the whale migrations right from the lanai, or large dinette window. They never disappoint! Our building, building 2, has only 8 units. We are situated at the very end of the road, literally across from the cliff's edge, and there is no through traffic. There's lots of parking right in front of the building. There is a Gas BBQ right in front of our unit, and the newly re-done pool (May 2015) , is a short ocean view walk away. Beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, cooler, are all provided. The guest bathroom has a bath tub and shower, and the master bath has a shower. The unit is 1100 square feet, and the kitchen is fully furnished, as well as having a new washer and dryer. The guest bedroom bed can convert from twin to king size upon request. There is a flat screen TV in living room and master bedroom. WiFi is available. Free tennis is available at the Princeville (Makai) tennis courts. There is no elevator ( 16 steps----13, a landing, then 3 more). No smoking is allowed. There is no AC, tho with the trade winds, we are very blessed with wonderful breezes. There are ceiling fans in both bedrooms and kitchen and living room, as well as extra portable fans. Guest access We would welcome you to make yourself at home in our Hawaiian home, and know you will especially enjoy the view and privacy from the lanai, which looks out to a stunning back yard of ocean, mountain and breath taking sunset sights. Other things to note TAXES The state of Hawaii, and Kauai Island itself, have 3 different tax assessments that must be added to your booking fee :( For a total of 17.25%, there is a Kauai excise tax of 4%; A Transient tax of 10.25% and a Kauai County Transient tax of 3% Registration Details 540050160015
