Newly renovated 2 bedroom, 1 bath condo located in South Kihei on Maui's sunny South-West side steps from world famous Charley Young beach and Cove Park beach. Complex has a recently renovated pool and beautiful, well maintained tropical grounds. Within walking distance to restaurants, shopping, cafes, Kamaole beaches, surfing, Kalama Park and everything beautiful Kihei has to offer! COVID-19: enhanced cleaning and safety measures are currently in place. The calendar is blocked for a minimum of 30 hours in between stays. The condo is cleaned with disinfectant. You can check in by yourself without coming in contact with anyone using our electronic door lock with a keypad. For your protection and flexibility we've also adopted a relaxed cancelation policy. The condo underwent a total renovation in 2011 and was updated again in 2018 with new air conditioners in the living room and in the master bedroom, a new dining set, a new fridge, a new dishwasher, a new stove, a new coffee table and new lanai furniture and again in 2019 with fresh paint and new faucets. The condo offers two real bedrooms (not a loft) and a separate living area. That makes all the difference when one person wakes up early from jetlag and you don't want everyone up! The entire condo has been furnished and decorated professionally with a hotel like décor and contemporary furniture. New tile flooring throughout the unit helps keep it cool and comfortable. The master bedroom features a luxurious, four poster king bed and a luxury plush, serta-pedic mattress when you need to rest after a long day at the beach, the pool or sightseeing around the island. The second bedroom is the perfect hangout spot for kids with a twin bunk bed, plenty of space to play and a portable crib for the little one. The bunk bed can be separated into two twin beds. The living room is spacious, features a comfortable couch, chair and coffee table, as well as a small formal dining area. And all the entertainment options you need are provided with a new 42' LCD HD 1080p flat screen TV, Blu-ray player, 100+ cable TV channels (many in HD), instant streaming of movies, TV shows and music through Netflix, Pandora and Vudu (Vudu requires you to have an account), and of course there's free WIFI. The bathroom is completely remodeled in 2011 with a bathtub for the kids, a shower and a large vanity with room for all your toiletries. And for those beautiful mornings or perfect, warm evenings there's a table and comfortable chairs on our private lanai so you can have your breakfast and dinner outside with a view of the tropical garden and the pool. The beautiful and functional kitchen with Corian countertops is fully stocked with everything you need to cook in your home away from home. The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, oven, gas stove, all necessary cooking utensils, blender, coffee maker, toaster, rice cooker and much more. The condo is stocked with everything needed for a comfortable and fun stay. That includes beach chairs, umbrella strollers, coolers, beach towels, lots of towels, board games and some toys. You rent the entire condo! My onsite manager, Karrie, is available if you need help or have questions. Maui Family Condo is located within walking distance to everything, less than a 5 minute walk from Charley Young Beach, one of Maui's best swimming beaches, and Cove Park beach, one of Maui's best beginner surf spots. Shopping, restaurants, cafes and Starbucks are within a 10 minute walk as is Kalama Beach Park which has beach volleyball courts, a skateboard park, a roller skating rink, basketball courts and a playground. Kalama Terrace is a non-smoking complex. Smoking is not allowed inside the unit, on the Lanai or anywhere in common areas, including parking lot, walkways and lawn. The entire complex is a quiet zone between 9PM and 8AM daily. Reduced noise time is from 7-9PM. Please ensure that all beach gear is rinsed off prior to re-entering the unit and before check-out. There’s a rinsing area next to the BBQ area by the pool. Out of respect of other tenants, please clean the BBQ grill after use. The pool is open 8AM-9PM. It is a glass free area. Feel free to use plastic tumblers. Big flotation toys are not allowed. Only noodles and kickboards can be used. "Horseplay", running, screaming, pushing or other boisterous conduct is not permitted in pool area. "Marco Polo", "Cannon Balling" and other similar noisy games are prohibited. No diving. Towels can’t be hung over the Lanai railing. Please use the Lanai chairs to dry towels. Do not leave food out on the counters. Put everything in the fridge or in a sealed container. We also highly recommend emptying the trash daily and running the dishwasher daily. This is the tropics and we do have some bugs! Please don’t get sunscreen on furniture, bedding or towels. It doesn’t wash out! Please only run the A/C when you’re in the unit. For more information on how to naturally cool the condo, please refer to the Condo Binder in the TV cabinet. Please leave the condo is the same good, habitable condition as it was found. Before checkout, please wash, dry and put away all dishes. It’s OK to leave one set of clean dishes in the dishwasher. Please take out all trash, empty the fridge and freezer, take the linens off the beds and put them in a pile on top of the bed, hang wet towels so they can dry, and rinse off all beach gear/toys. If the beach equipment and/or chairs aren’t completely dry then it is OK to leave them on the floor in the 2nd bedroom. If you separated the bunk bed, then please put it back up for the next guests. An extra cleaning charge will apply if the condo is left excessively dirty, such as dirty oven/stove, sand throughout the unit, or trash or leftover food has not been removed or the bunk bed was not put back up. Please leave keys in the basket on the TV cabinet or in the lockbox.
