Guest House Garden View Studio with Kitchenette

One of several beautiful, spacious studios in our Guest House. Great central location just 10 minute drive to downtown Kailua, Beach, Harbor and Airport (no noise). Our elevation of 1,600 feet provides the perfect temperature. This lovely, spacious studio has a queen bed, sleeper sofa, private bath with extra large shower, kitchenette, large, private, covered lanai, cable LCD TV and free WiFi, onsite parking and beach gear. Tropical garden surrounds the home. Perfect Home Away from Home! The space Our guest house is a great home-base for exploring the Big Island of Hawaii. We try to provide everything you need to make it your home away from home. We are half a mile away from the picturesque Makalei Hawaii Golf Course and a short drive to the beautiful beaches of the Kona and Kohala coasts. Waimea is a half hour drive, Hilo is an hour and twenty minutes away and Volcanoes National Park makes a great day trip. For those arriving on the evening flights, we are only 10 minutes from the airport, but have no airport noise. Our house is surrounded by nature. The beautiful, tropical garden is filled with flowering Plumeria, Hibiscus and Heliconia, as well as palms, bananas and papayas. Wild pheasants, turkeys and song birds often nest and raise their chicks in our garden. Wake up in the morning to the sound of birds singing, and breakfast on the lanai. Then it's off to the beach with chairs, boogie boards, cooler and towels supplied by us! After a day of fun, relax on your private lanai and listen to the gentle rustling of banana leaves. The studio has a kitchenette so you can cook meals. The kitchenette includes refrigerator /freezer, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, electric skillet, rice cooker/vegetable steamer, portable stove top with pot, hot water kettle and dishes. Guest access Dish washing and laundry facilities are located down the hall. There is a small charge for washer/dryer and detergent is included. During your stay We have enjoyed hosting Big Island visitors for almost 30 years. We have explored this beautiful island extensively and are available to help you plan your daily adventures and answer your questions.
