Prairie Rock Suite is a fully furnished apartment in our home’s lower level located on a cul-de-sac just 1 mile east of highway 75. You’ll find recliners, a kitchen w/a table, AND a queen bed that gets rave reviews! Warm towels and a sparkling en suite bathroom are yours. Take in the porch swing, fire pit, WiFi and Smart TV. The Suite bed gets rave reviews. After a shower, wrap up in a warm towel. Or, maybe recline in one of the comfy chairs and read a book. Do you love music? You might enjoy listening to vintage albums on a real turntable! Convenient - 1 mile from Dordt University and 12 miles from Northwestern. For breakfast, a freshly baked Dutch almond patty will be delivered. You can add yogurt for breakfast along with hot and cold beverages. Private parking in our driveway will allow you to come and go easily. Just pull up and park on the left side. Keyless entry to the Suite is convenient. Once inside, keys to lock the doors of the Suite are also provided. Railings on both sides of the stairs make it safe to enter the Suite. Please note: Prairie Rock Suite is not handicap accessible. We are friendly and like to meet new people. If you wish to chat, we welcome conversation, however, privacy and a full "retreat" experience are yours to take in. S'more ingredients and fire sticks are available to take to the fire pit. Why not take your coffee and sit on the front porch swing? Traveling with an infant/toddler? A Pak 'n' Play is available. Just ask. We’re almost always nearby and welcome ways to make your stay relaxing and comfortable. Prairie Rock Suite is snuggled into a quiet and lovely grouping of single family homes. Beautiful, mature landscaping, trusted neighbors, and sweet friendships make our cul-de-sac special. The back edge of our acreage is bordered by cropland. We are located 1 mile south of Dordt University and are 1 minute from the Sioux Center Hospital. It’s easy to spot our home. A very big “prairie rock” greets you when pulling into the driveway. Parking is free on the left side of our driveway. An extensive bike/walking trail is just across the road from the Suite. It connects to several areas in town, including parks, Dordt University and downtown. We have a Smart TV, and high speed WiFi to access. Canvas lawn chairs and umbrellas are available for guests to use.
