Large flatscreen SmartTV w/cable HD channels, FREE Internet & WiFi. Ceiling fans and air circulators in the living area and bedroom are all you need to be comfortable (no AC). The space *** AGREEMENT *** In booking of this accommodation, Guests agree to host's House Rules and Strict Cancellation Policy; alterations to reservation will NOT be approved within 30 days of check-in date. Also, Guests agree to notify Host of ANY issues, including cleaning issues, WITHIN 24 hours of check-in arrival; otherwise, Guests forfeit the right to any remediation. * TAT and GET taxes are included in nightly fees. * Comfortably accommodates 4 people: - two full-size beds in the bedroom; - a Euro lounger in LR has adjustable arms and back converts to a full-size bed; - and an Ottoman with memory foam converts to a single sleeper. - extra charges will apply after 4 guests ($20/person/night). MAX occupancy is 5. * Keyless entry, separate entrance, 24/7 access with unique code (assigned prior to check-in date). Our local contact can be available to meet & greet, if preferred (upon request only). * Front entrance security camera facing entrance foyer only, recording triggered by movement. * Large Kitchen with brand-new appliances (stainless steel refrigerator, stove, microwave, and dishwasher), kitchenware, cookware and bakeware. Kitchen amenities beyond the basics - including a coffee maker, blender, rice-cooker, toaster, the all-important corkscrew, and more! * Full-size deep bathtub / shower (w/ non-slip mat available). * Private lanai has dining table w/ seating for 4 and cushioned lounge chairs. * Convenient in-unit Washer and Dryer, so you can pack light! * Beach amenities - including beach chairs, beach mats, cooler, beach umbrellas and beach towels. * Note: There are usually NO wild chickens on the property to wake you in the early morning! * Please understand that this unit is located within a condo complex and thin walls are shared; therefore the potential for noise is high. It is also located directly behind the pool house, which can get busy during the day. Also note, this is a ground-level unit with upstairs neighbors. * This private 1-bdrm condo is connected to a lock-off unit with a double-locked exterior connecting door. Although it is made of metal with no gaps, sound may travel from the unit next door. * This unit is offered as “no AC” and reflected in the pricing. However, Optional portable AC unit MAY be available for per-day use fees. (no guarantees). Guest access This ground-level unit is easily accessible with no stairs, and is located in a sunny area within the complex, steps to the pool/Jacuzzi/BBQ area, and away from busy roads and parking lots. Guests are allowed use of the pool/Jacuzzi and BBQ grills provided in the pool area - there's even FREE wi-fi poolside! Other things to note For stays longer than 14 days, a mandatory cleaning will be required every 15 days ($158/cleaning, includes taxes). Directions: If you're coming from LIH airport/Lihue/Kapaa area, head North on HI-51 to HI-56 for about 27 scenic miles to Ka Haku Road in Princeville. Turn right on Ka Haku Rd., and stay on it for about a mile to Pepelani Loop. Make a right on Pepelani Loop, and the first right on Albert Road. Entrance to the rear parking lot will be the first right. You may park in any UNMARKED spots, there is no assigned parking for this unit. There are also unreserved spots in the front parking lot off Pepelani Loop (access is across from The Plantation). Please use the Parking Pass provided in the unit during your stay. Note, there will be a $75 charge for lost / unreturned parking pass - this is the amount charged by the HOA. Room Rate and Taxes: The room rate stated is inclusive of a 17.97% Hawai'i State taxes, which is a requirement for all rentals less than 180 consecutive days in Hawai'i, consisting of General Excise Tax 4.72% (GET) and Transient Accommodation Tax 13.25% (TAT). TAT and GET Registration number are TA-105-029-7344-01 and GE-105-029-7344-01, respectively.
