“Special Rate” Private, Waimea Ohana (Guest House)

My husband and I purchased our home in 2014 and spent a year remodeling the main house and guest house. Our one-acre property is centrally located on the slopes of Buster Brown on the sunny side of Waimea (also known as Kamuela). We are walking distance to town, grocery stores, local farmers markets, coffee shops and some of our favorite restaurants. At 2750' elevation, our cooler evenings and nights give you a cozy break from the days sunny adventures. The space Our ohana is a 1000 sq. ft., private, stand alone, recently remodeled, 2 bedroom, 1 bath guest house. It is clean and beautifully furnished. The fully-equipped kitchen includes: -refridgerator -dishwasher -microwave -toaster -convection oven -dual, electric induction cooktop -additional hot plates -coffee maker, Keurig, coffee grinder, electric tea kettle -pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, glassware, etc. -paper towels, trash bags, dish soap, etc. Additional amenities are: -washer and dryer -linens and towels -luggage racks, hangers -blow dryer -beach towels -beach chairs (2) located in the outdoor bin -boogie boards (2) located in the outdoor bin -cooler -snorkel gear upon request From the private lanai with a bistro table for two and a BBQ grill, enjoy the sunrise and sunsets, as well as majestic views of Mauna Kea and a peek-a-boo view of the ocean. Guest access Drive around to the right, (on the grass) of the main house and park next to the ohana to easily load and unload your belongings. There is a lockbox with the key. We will give you the 4-digit code prior to check-in. Other things to note Drive times: We are located 45 minutes from the Kona Airport and 1.5 hours from the Hilo Airport. Our beautiful beaches are just a short 15-20 minute away. Mauna Kea Visitors Center is approximately 60 minutes and Volcanos National Park is a 2 hour drive.
