Our home is out of the busy city but when you are in the mood for the city life we are only about 10 to 15 minutes by car from Waikiki and downtown. Access to private room, kitchen, bathroom, living room and outside yard/deck. I am usually available to help, although I come and go frequently. I am happy to share my phone number in the event a guest needs to reach me. Very safe neighborhood with great neighbors and plenty of street parking. Close to bus lines. Great bus system called "TheBus" with lines walking distance. The nearest beach is 1.6 miles south, or 5 minutes driving. One of the best beaches on the south coast is Kahala beach which is 4 miles or 12 minutes to the west by car. Hawaii Kai has some smaller tourist shops and is 12 minutes or 4.6 miles east. The house sits between Waikiki and Hanauma Bay, the #1 snorkeling spot on the island (and good beach). If you're snorkeling at Hanauma Bay, it's 17 minutes or 6.2 miles east from the house. Koko head crater is also 17 minutes to the east so if you are looking to do those activities as well, the location of the house is perfect. Guests first need to climb 26 stairs to reach our gate. The entrance is through the gate. Do not go to the door at the back of the house as we have neighbors there. Please always make sure the gate is closed and latched behind you.
