We find that air conditioning is not needed, multiple fans throughout the condo reinforce ample air flow. The view from the living room, facing North, reveals the heart of Kailua along with an ocean view. The condo has a lovely lanai to enjoy outdoor dining, book reading and viewing the ocean and into old town Kailua-Kona. You also have use of our pool. While on island, our property manager is available to answer any questions about the use of the condo, access and additional cleaning needs. The condo property, Kona Alii, has a complex manager to help with any issues with shared condo facilities and minor emergencies. All contact information will be forwarded at the time of rental. Restaurants and Bars abound next to our Alii Drive location next to Coconut Grove. Don the Beachcomber's bar at the Royal Kona, where the Mai Tai was created is a 5 minute walk away. We also love Huggos on the Rocks, Humpy's and Ocean's. All a stone's throw away. Our oceanside location is on the main artery of activity in Kona (Alii Drive). It is very active day and night. Our central location allows walking access to all of the popular Restaurants and Shops Kona offers. Because of our location, there is always a background of waves breaking on the shoreline across the street. Mornings are all about a big walk and enjoying a cup of Kona coffee. We also suggest a swim at Kailua Pier, or snorkeling/beach time in front of The Marriott/King Kamehameha. The island is big, a rental car is a great way to experience the vast beauty of this island and highly recommend if possible. Uber is available (the only place not is a pick up at the Kona/Hilo Airports). Taxis are available. We are committed to providing a safe, clean and worry free environment during your stay. Our cleaning service, Kona Professional Housekeepers, is a locally owned/operated business here in Kona. They adhere to the strict Covid-19 cleaning guidelines that the CDC recommend and Airbnb requires. We offer a Cal King bed. A washer/dryer is included. We also have a covered parking stall dedicated to our unit. It is so nice to have the sun off the car while parked. Along with a secured, very large pool, we also have a shared sun deck for lounging and gas grills available for your enjoyment.
