We are beachfront! Our protected beach is perfect for swimming, relaxing, and snorkeling. During low tide, walk on the exposed coral reef. The reef also has some tide pools you can get a close up look at. Soft sand to lay on or play in. During high tide, the coral reef and sand are covered, making it was perfect time to take the inflatable boat out. Our 60s North Shore cottage is a great combination of Hawaiian charm with new amenities. Brand new kitchen with full professional appliance suite. The space Our 60s beachfront home has a walkable coral reef that is one of our most unique aspects. We've seen people do sunrise yoga on it! It's also perfect for fishing off of. The protected beach creates a beautiful ecosystem in front of our house. You can often find a few Hawaiian monk seals laying out on our beach. These creatures are incredibly beautiful and docile. If you're lucky, breaching whales can be seen off in the distance. During low tide, you can explore the tide pools on the reef. Our house has an open concept kitchen / living room / dining room, perfect for gathering all your friends and family in (although we have a feeling you'll be outside most of the time!). We have a huge outdoor dining table on the lanai for group meals, drinks, or games. House is retro themed with vintage travel posters & pillows. We just completed a full remodel of the kitchen and installed the best appliances available, including a Sub-Zero fridge, Miele combi-steam oven, Miele convection oven, Miele Professional dishwasher, and Monogram induction cooktop. We provide Hestan titanium pans for the induction cooktop. A chef's kitchen! We provide gigabit internet — the fastest available on the island! Being on the North Shore, there are rare outages, so we also provide backup satellite internet from Starlink (SpaceX). Quick drive to Turtle Bay for fine dining at Roy's Beach House, golfing, full service spa, salon, and gym. Or head south to Kualoa Ranch for a Hollywood movie site tour (Lost, Jurassic Park, etc), horseback ride tour, ATV tour, or kayak tour. We're directly across the street from the Polynesian Culture Center (PCC). BYU is within walking distance, as is the Laie Hawaii Temple. Guest access Large grassy, Hawaiian landscaped yard shared with other side of duplex. You have access to laundry, beach toys, etc. You have your own parking in front and your own beachfront lanai, grill, beach chairs, etc. Other things to note This is a 60s North Shore beachfront cottage. We take pride in our family home and update/maintain it regularly; however, if you are expecting fully brand new construction this is not the home for you. We would suggest staying in Waikiki. As with any beachfront home, tides are directly related to the weather, moon phase, time of day, and time of year. We have a tide chart available for you to use, and can refer you to some apps that have live up-to-date tide forecasts. The backyard is open to the other side of the duplex (but not shared).
