A "tiny house" experience Big Island style. An authentic Hawaii country experience with two futons (main floor and in loft). Plenty seasonal fruit:oranges, tangerines, bananas, papayas. Large lanai overlooking the gulch, inside coffee maker, cooler, and a cozy space for being "unplugged" (no TV, internet). Access to fridge. Outdoor sink and hot shower, new outhouse. Constructed primarily of recycled and repurposed materials, in the spirit of sustainability cherished by our island. The space We'd love to welcome you with aloha and can provide additional input and guidance if you desire: make your own dehydrated bananas or fruits, help weed the pineapples, pick fruit, learn how and make your own kombucha. Of course, ideas for hikes, shopping, restaurants, and waterfalls/events are also provided upon request. Guest access Easy access to the Mauna Kea observatory, volcano adventures, farmer's markets, hikes, beaches. BTW, my space is away from the current lava flow and earthquakes, so no worries there. Other things to note The tiny house is located in the country but some have noted that there is noise from the road, so if that bothers you, do take note.
