REVIEWS: Denise - Mar 2018 - “We absolutely loved Julie's condo. It is a 5 minute walk to Punaluu Beach(Black sand beach with sea turtles). The condo had every item you would need from beach towels and chairs to a washer and dryer and well stocked kitchen. The property has a gorgeous pool and hot tub surrounded by stunning landscaping looking out to the ocean! Kona is a 1.5 hour drive, which we willingly did every day, we liked the peace of quiet where the condo is and drove to the busy side. We will come again!!! Thank you Julie!!!” Parisa - Apr 2018 - Our stay was great! Julie was responsive and accommodating. The condo is a < 5 min walk to Punalu'u beach which is amazing. It was also very conveniently located to the Volcanoes National Park so it was good home base for us to explore the beach and national park. The condo was clean and comfortable with a well-stocked kitchen. If you are interested in snorkeling or beach activities you will need to remember to bring your own as they are not provided by the condo and there are no rental places at the beach. It is in a remote location which is great for relaxing but plan your groceries and meals accordingly. I would definitely stay here again. Ramona - April 2018 - “Lovely & tasteful unit. It had everything we needed for cooking our own meals. Beautiful of the ocean. We loved the pool & hot tub. Great choice for families looking for a mellow weekend in Kaʻū!” Beth - May 2018 - “Very nice! As described. We stayed here for a wedding on Punalu'u Black Sands Beach. Easily the nicest place to stay nearby. A rental car is a must in this area- as warned, there are not any places to get groceries within walking distance. We had no issues during our stay, we found the condo to be clean and well appointed. Would stay again!” Andree - July 2018 - "Punalu'u is a great place to stay. No vog here.  Loved staying in Punalu'u, all my guests loved the hot tub." Eileen - Aug 2018 - “Julie, Thanks so much for sharing your condo! Our goal was to visit the area of South Point. The kids had a blast at South Point jumping off three times each. The locals were great in sharing their input on when to jump. Friends joined us in their Jeep to take us to Green Sand Beach. We had breakfast at the Bakery and great local dinners and lunch. Your information in the condo was very helpful. I was concerned when I signed up for no A/C in Aug but it cooled off to a pleasant sleeping temperature. I love the louvers - what a difference that makes in keeping the rooms cool. The pool and jacuzzi were a hit along with Black Sand Beach. Thanks again. The kids said their favorite part of HI so far!” Jeff - Mar 2020 - “Nice condo. Ample space for our group of 5. Great pool and hot tub with space to grill. Quiet and super close to black sand beach” Lauren - Feb 2021 - “The unit was clean and comfortable for our family of six. Hard to beat the quiet and ideal location with walking distance to Punaluu. Julie was communicative and provided all the needed details for a smooth check in and check out.” Terri - Feb 2021 - “We had 4 adults and 2 kids and had lots of room. The walk to the beach is short. Saw Turtles everyday. The drive to Hilo is 1 hour and 2 hours to Kona. We went to Volcano Park. Went to caves and Waterfalls. Coconut island is great. Would come back.”
