Aloha! My condo in Makiki will immerse you right into the heart of Honolulu. The main bedroom has a queen sized bed, with side tables and a sweet closet. The second bedroom has a full size bed, side table, desk, shelving and closet. There are sliding 'pocket doors' to separate this room from the living room. The main spaces have the living room, kitchen, bathroom and lanai; washer and dryer in unit. The building has a pool, hot tub, sauna, gym, and store. Open to long term stays under a lease. The view off the lanai gives you a peek-a-boo view of Diamond Head to the east. On Friday nights, you can see the fireworks reach just over the tops of the Hilton Hawaiian Village every week. The bedrooms and rest of my condo are painted very brightly. There are ceiling fans in the bedrooms to keep the air flowing. There is a full kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave, coffee pot, tea kettle, cooking tools, pots and pans. For your pleasure there are shared condo amenities: pool, hot tub, sauna, gym room with free weights and a small store on the premises. The entire apartment is yours to enjoy! There will be no in person interactions but am available if needed! Makiki is a central location - just a 10min drive to Waikiki beaches and 10mins from downtown Honolulu. This area is a prime spot and walking distance to everything needed, beaches, restaurants, bars, shopping, and groceries. Some things that are close are Honolulu Museum of Art, Ala Moana Center (largest mall on the islands), yoga studios, Sure Shot Cafe, Blaisdell Center, and The Village Market. Closest grocery stores are Safeway and Times. The best part is no car needed, The Bus is excellent in Hawaii, Uber/Lyft are also great options. If you wish to be more active you can walk or even use Biki bike rentals (just download the app). The Bus, Lyft and Uber are very useful ways of getting around. Walking is possible to most places nearby. There is a bikeshare system called Biki bikes located all around downtown and Waikiki. They have an app that will inform you of availability and locations, etc. There are many locations in close proximity. King Street has a bike path that runs from downtown to the Waikiki area. Pensacola has a bike bath that runs down toward Ala Moana Beach Park. I enjoy running to, from and around Ala Moana Beach Park. Street parking rules in Hawaii must be observed, as well as jaywalking laws. HPD will ticket and tow, so be aware. It is now illegal to *operate your phone (i.e. texting) while crossing the street. A few building rules: My building has no guest parking. You must use the assigned parking space. No pets are allowed.
