The space Enjoy the Aloha spirit in a designer decorated 1BR 1BA condo which my active family uses part-time as a home-away-from home. Wake up to the sun rising over the Makaha Valley Mountains in a comfy queen sized bed. Make yourself at home and unpack your suitcases into spacious dressers and two large closets. Relax in the living room overlooking the ocean and mountains with free cable, wifi and flat-screen TV. Prepare coffee, drinks and meals in a fully equipped updated kitchen with open design and counter bar. Get ready for your day of adventure in a spacious, comfy, bathroom with modern fixtures and a large shower and storage. End your day with a quiet meal overlooking the water and mountains or make friends at the poolside with a BBQ using any of the 6 condo complex grills ready to cook your steak or Ahi tuna. The condo is located in the remote part of Oahu, where the road narrows and has speed bumps, one mile from the ocean on a private road, up against these ancient Hawaiian burial grounds in a gated complex with beautiful beaches a walk down the street. The beaches are fairly secluded, and a couple miles down the road are other beautiful beaches, one with sea turtles, near the part of Oahu where the TV series "Lost" was filmed. Hike on the former rail path to the end of the island where you can sometimes see whales breaching or seals sunbathing. Peacocks roam the condo complex and the mountains and the view from the complex. Guest access Laundry facilities every other floor. Saltwater pool, BBQ & park-like gathering area for Makaha Tower residents and guests. Beach and Makaha Valley Golf Course both less than 5 min drive (or 10 min walk) away. Wilderness trails and waterfalls (my daughter's favorite) start at the Makaha Towers gate!
