Home in Tisbury

Our place is close to the bus line and bike paths. The house is in the woods for a private setting. The house is secluded, yet convenient to Vineyard Haven. You can walk to the market through the woods. There is a free bus from the Tisbury Park and Ride (5 minute walk) every 20 minutes to the Steamship dock. Nice place for couples, wedding guests, anglers, fishing, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families with kids. Good location for lots of island events: derby, wedding, road race The space Two bedrooms upstairs with a queen and single in each room. Downstairs has one bedroom with a queen. The bedrooms have in room air conditioners. The first floor living room and kitchen does not have air conditioning. The upstairs bathroom has a tub and shower. The downstairs bathroom has a shower. The eat in kitchen has a full setup, stove, oven, microwave, pots and pans, and plenty of dishes and utensils. Cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms have kid locks installed, but are not engaged. If you want to kid proof the cabinets below the sinks, you can move them into place and tighten the screws. In the great room is a dining room table, couch and several chairs for sitting. Bed linens and towels will be provided. Please bring your beach towels. Note: owner may be present on another lot adjacent to the house. Guest access This is a full house rental, including: Kitchen, two full baths (tub upstairs, shower downstairs), tv, high speed internet, security system, laundry, and yard surrounding the house. Other things to note The Tisbury solar farm is nearby. Old Sailors' Burying Ground is down the dirt road next to the house. There are lots of walking trails through the forest nearby. In the house, there is a good collection of printed flyers on activities and places of interest on Martha's Vineyard. The Vineyard is a fun place to visit. Tisbury is centrally convenient to most down island destinations.
