Private Townhome Apartment in Historic Hotel

Offering elegance, history, and genuine hospitality, The Continental Hotel is southern Iowa’s premier boutique hotel. A hidden gem on the historic Centerville Square, our 28-room hotel dates to 1866. We have hosted a number of famous historical figures including Booker T. Washington and Carrie Nation. The Continental has a restaurant, Lucile's, on the main level that serves lunch and dinner. Free continental breakfast is available here and is included with your stay. The space Each of our rooms is uniquely decorated and we offer a number of different room types perfect for solo travelers or groups. Please note that this apartment is separate from the main body of the hotel. It has a separate entrance with its own parking garage. The bedrooms are on the second level and only accessible via stairs. The master room is large and has two queen beds. It (and the unit’s full bathroom) are accessed by passing through the small, den-like second bedroom. Guest access Guests check in at the front desk of The Continental Hotel at 217 N. 13th Street. Upon check in, our staff with issue keys and a garage door opener and direct you to your unit.
