The Wa'a Suite is a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment conveniently located in the Waikiki Banyan. The Wa'a offers a king size bed in the bedroom and a Queen futon/bed in the living room. Enjoy a fully stocked kitchen with a full-size fridge and stove. Gaze at beautiful city/mountain views from your private lanai. Enjoy the Waikiki Banyan's recreation deck on the 6th floor complete with a pool, hot tubs, BBQ's, tennis court and kids playground. The lobby offers a wonderful coffee shop and mini mart. If guests ever need any assistance we are just a call/text/message away! We have the best location ever! Our apartment is in the heart of the activities! The bus is only $2.50 and will take you anyplace you want to go (if on a tight budget) but a rental car is the way to go if you wanna make the most of your time (instead of sitting around waiting for the bus). Pearl Harbor takes about a 20min drive by car, but over 1.5 hrs on bus. A drive around the perimeter of the island is a fantastic way to see a lot of the island in a short period of time. There is world famous hiking trails and beaches all over the place. You won't be short of things to do in the middle of Waikiki. Lots of dining, shopping, bars, and sights in this very area. It really depends on what style of activity you would like to do. Here is just a few I would recommend: Hanauma Bay Snorkeling, Diamond Head crater (45 min hike), Manoa Falls, Pearl Harbor/USS Arisona/USSMissouri/USSBowfin, Dole Pineapple Plantation, Wailua Coffee Farms, Fumi's Shrimp, Kaena Point, Kaneohe Sandbar, Kayak to the Moks islands, Nuuanu Pali Overlook, Round top drive, Ala Moana Center (shopping), Makapu'u lighthouse hike and beach, Waikiki Aquarium, Honolulu zoo, Kapiolani Park, Koko Crater Hike, Island Divers snorkeling/diving/underwater adventures, jet skis, windsurfing, skydiving, spear fishing (aka skin diving), Bishop Museum, Sandy Beach, Chinaman's Hat, Polynesian Cultural Center, Paradise Cove Lu'au, and the list goes on and on! I am sure you will find something awesome to do! A straight drive around the island takes about 4 hours by car with only minimal stopping. If you take a full day you can see many of the sites all at once! We recommend doing the North Shore in one day and the east side of the island in one day. Or just relax on several different beaches while sipping a beverage! ;) We can certainly help point you in the right direction to see things if you decide to stay with us. We are located right near all the bus stops, trolleys, taxis and shuttles. Most people walk around Waikiki everything is really close by. The easy self-check in process allows you to come at your leisure, anytime after 3pm! The Waikiki Banyan garage ramps are 6 feet tall. If you are planning on renting a car please don't rent a car more than 6 feet tall It will not fit in our building's parking garage.
