Locking shed - great for bikes. AC/Heat mini-split unit for your comfort. Fenced yard. A friendly cottage community of 13 distinctively different cottages plus a very nice gated pool. If you prefer to bring your own sheets and towels just let me know and I will provide a $35/week credit! Alternatively there are linen rental companies in the area who provide drop-off service. I provide toilet paper, paper towels and bathing products (soap, shampoo etc.) as well as sanitizing wipes and sprays, dish detergent etc. There is enough room in the shed to store a couple of bikes or other equipment. About a week or two before your arrival I will send you a welcome email and the day before you arrive I will send you the combination for the lockbox. Once you gain access, please return the key to the lockbox so there is always a key there in case of emergency. There will be a spare set of keys inside the cottage for use during your stay and there will be a copy of my Welcome Book there as well. Check in after 3:00 PM. Checkout by 10:00 AM. I will let you know about any flexibility regarding check in and check out times particularly to help you avoid high traffic over the bridges. I am typically available to respond to any issue within an hour. This is hands down the nicest part of Dennisport with restaurants all around plus the best ice cream on the Cape. And to beat it all, "Buckies Biscotti" is right on Main Street, Dennisport. You can NOT do better. Walk/run/bike to the beach in the early misty mornings. Watch a wedding on the beach as they happen frequently. Antique and secondhand shops abound. A short trip to Fort Hill in Eastham for a view that will make your heart pound. About 50 minutes to Provincetown and don't forget to stop at Wellfleet Harbor. Create some mind pictures you can conjure up on those cold rainy or snowy evenings back home! Great central area area for walking, biking and exploring. The cottage is less than a mile to the beach depending on which Dennisport beach you like the best. Strongly recommend the West Dennis beach at sunset (2 miles), the boardwalk and inlet at Grays Beach Yarmouth Port and the FREE Sunday evening 6:00 PM band concerts at the gazebo in Drummer Boy Park in Brewster (where my partner Steven announces and plays the sax!). It is Americana at its best. Bring your dinner or snacks and beverages! Coffee shop, restaurants, pizza, convenience store and library all within a few blocks. Entrances to the ever popular Cape Cod Rail Trail are just a couple of miles up the street. Enhanced safe wide bike path runs through the woods by cranberry bogs and ponds... a truly wonderful experience! Mini-split HEAT/AC unit and ceiling fan keep cottage comfortable. Portable fan available. There are beach chairs and boogie boards in the shed that you are welcome to use during your stay. Please be aware that we are restricted by the town to two overnight guests at a time or 2 guests plus a baby/toddler is fine.
