Beautiful views of Molokai out the screened front door, as well as Lanai off the lanai. Striking floor-ceiling mirrors capture ocean views from virtually anywhere inside. Location in building catches wonderful trade winds. Listen to the sounds of the waves, just steps away & enjoy the endless sea turtle traffic right under your nose. Although there is no Air Conditioning, the A/C is usually not missed. Our location in the building takes full advantage of what is referred to as "Island Air." With screens on the lanai doors as well as the bedroom windows and screened security door at the front entry, you can open up and have the wonderful tropical breezes blow through all day and all night. We do have ceiling fans and optional personal fans available, but with the beautiful trade winds blowing through, they aren't needed all that often. Fall asleep to the sound of the waves along the shore. We do have a queen size sofa sleeper in the living room and a Cal King bed in the bedroom, however this space is more ideally suited for 2 people, or a couple with 1 or 2 children, vs 2 adult couples. Things could get rather cramped with 4 adults trying to share the space comfortably. We have a SEASONAL sandy beach right out front, with incredible reef snorkeling. It is accessed by rock stairs on the property, subject to high tides and waves. There is a larger sand beach at the neighboring complex just a short walk away. This property is considered Oceanfront, not Beachfront. The closet on the lanai has beach chairs, a cooler, and umbrella. Beach towels are provided. Other items may be left by previous guests. You are welcome to use them at your own risk. Help yourselves, but please return them clean and be mindful of the sand coming through the inside. Beach belongings are best cleaned off with the hose or shower downstairs before being brought up. There are conveniently located showers and hoses near the walkways in order to rinse off the sand prior to returning to the condo. Enjoy the common grounds of the complex. There is a lovely swimming pool (accessed using provided pool key which opens either of the gates down by the lobby or along the water- key also opens laundry room doors and community restroom on ground level) shuffle board, BBQs, grassy areas, picnic tables and a giant open sun deck for unobstructed ocean viewing. There are coin operated washers and dryers available on the 2nd and 3rd floors. $1.75 to wash, $1.75 to dry. We have 2 yoga mats available as well as a set of blocks. You’re welcome to use them on the lanai, inside, or even take them down to the sundeck for an open space stretch. We have a seasonal sandy beach right out front, with incredible reef snorkeling. Honokowai Walking to some shops, café, nearby beaches, Farmers Market, driving to popular tourist activities, restaurants and larger stores. For any traveling around the island, rental car is probably the easiest, but there is public transportation available, as well as Uber! Most places charge fees to park, so don't be alarmed or unprepared and get cited! Our complex is fortunate to enjoy free parking. We will email you a parking pass to print out prior to your arrival. The Hawaii State TAT (Transient Accommodations Tax) rate on gross rental proceeds is 10.25%. The State GET (General Excise Tax) is 4%. Maui County TAT is 3%. Total of 17.25% I will be sending a request for payment through the Airbnb Resolution center in order to collect and pay the Hawaii tax as required, if it is not already seen calculated in total cost
