This neighborhood is the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of NYC and is safe to walk around at night because it is patrolled by the local police. The people are friendly and it is quite relaxing to walk around the neighborhood. Closest shopping mall with restaurants and shops are in Teterboro Landing, which is 6 minutes away (2.6 miles/4.2 km). Other malls in Bergen County are Garden State Plaza Mall, Riverside Square Mall, Bergen Mall, and Paramus Park Mall. Did you know that shopping in New Jersey is tax free for clothes and shoes? It is why New Yorkers travel and shop to Bergen County malls because the ease of free parking and tax free on such items. Please note that Bergen County follows the blue law where non-food items are closed on Sundays. Transportation options to NYC: Take 163 bus by the Boulevard circle walking two blocks away from this lodging. You may choose either Teterboro or Wesmont train stations to travel to NYC or to other locations. There are buses available in the neighborhood to travel to other locations, including shopping malls. Please take note of the transportation schedule during the holidays. Nearest Commercial Airport: Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) is about 20 minutes (16.2 miles/26 km) away. The host is a fine dining foodie and a world traveler so please do not hesitate to ask for any other traveling options. The location of this house and this particular master bedroom is on a semi-busy street. This room is not for you if you are sensitive to aromatherapy, or sensitive to noises where this bedroom is near the semi-busy street.
