The home has a covered lanai which invites to watch the waves and surfers and whales in the winter time. The home is just 1/2 mile from Paia and the next beach is about 5 walking minutes away. The ocean front location offers the most beautiful views, watch surfers and whales in the winter time and beautiful sunsets in the summer. All rooms have AC to keep the home cool during our summer months. The kitchen has everything to cook a fantastic meal, dining inside or outside, large living room and covered deck. Private laundry facility, iron and iron board. This place has everything you need in a home away from home. Our cleaning staff is trained to newest CDC guidelines to provide safe accommodations to our guests. There are two homes on the property, both are vacation rentals. Garden areas are shared. Hale Hookipa Kai Cottage is a private home including a large covered deck and private parking. The shoreline is rocky and there is no access to the ocean. Property Management is available 24/7 for any concerns or maintenance issues. Concierge service is available as well by phone or a public office in Paia town Hookipa Haven 62A Baldwin Avenue. Office hours are Monday - Friday from 9am - 4pm. The ocean front property is located 1/2 mile outside of Paia town. Just a few minutes walk will take you to Tavaras Bay, known by local surfers and is also used for swimming and beach walks. Paia town is just a few minutes by car and offers great restaurants and boutiques. This is a residential area with owners and tenants living and working on Maui. Maui has a limited bus service available. We recommend to rent a car if you plan to do some sightseeing. The Hale Ho'okipa Kai property is a licensed vacation rental with Maui County. Maximum occupancy is 4 guest including children 2 years and older. Use of the property and home is for registered guests only. Quiet hours are from 9pm to 8am, parking is available for two cars, there is no street parking available. A rental agreement has to be signed within 7 days of booking including pre-check in form requiring a valid credit card in your name. Rates include taxes (17.42%), there are no additional fees. Minimum stay during Holiday Season is 14 days. This is a non-smoking property. 3rd party reservations are not accepted.
