Stroll for miles along Sugar Beach all the way to North Kihei without interruption, and find few other people along the way! Guests have full access to the entire unit, access to the resort common area grounds, including beautiful and sparkling crescent shaped pool, grassy area with lounge chairs, and table and chairs. There are 2 gas BBQ's for grilling, and the enjoyable well-kept grounds feature tropical flowers and foliage. The complex itself is small, only 45 units, allowing a genuine, old Hawaii ambiance. I do have a house manager should you not be able to contact me or have any pressing needs or concerns while you are here. A quiet and quaint area with beautiful beaches. This area is peaceful and quiet, no road noise, just the ocean waves! Yet it is close enough to the action of the more populated areas, if you want it. The property is on the beach, next to a small beach park, and then the Kealia Pond Wildlife Refuge, a natural pond and endangered bird sanctuary. The gorgeous sand goes on for miles. You can walk for miles and perhaps see no one, only the turtles! Harbor activities, restaurants, and shopping are walking distance as well, in the opposite direction. Get in the car for a short drive if you want to go and see the Island or hit some tourist activities! Activities at the harbor are 3 blocks away, on a quiet, lighted lane along the condos on the shoreline, so it is possible to walk to dinner and drinks. There you will find the Maui Aquarium, (which has the best gift shopping on the island and you do not have to buy a ticket to shop), bars, restaurants, gift shopping, and a small grocery, Most people want to "see the sights" while on Maui, and renting a car is the easiest way to get around. The driving is mostly laid back easy, but depending on how many tourists are on the island, can be slow in spots. Please follow the Hawaiian tradition and remove your shoes at the door. After a swim in the ocean, you will be surprised at the amount of sand in your bathing suit! Please leave it at the beach/outdoor shower by giving a rinse before re-entering the condo. We are on a private sewer system and sand down the drains must be avoided. Mahalo!
