Maui County License: BBPH2009/0012 (taxes included in rate) Lovely cottage with ocean and country views, surrounded by tropical flowers and fruit trees located in a small quiet and peaceful neighborhood in Ha'iku. The cottage is off the road and the neighborhood has no through traffic. Walking distance (15min) to Ha'iku's Market Place and bus stop. The cottage is well equipped with all amenities you need to feel home. The 700 square feet cottage is equipped with everything a visitor needs. Just bring your personal items and do not forget to bring your swim suit. Towels, sheets, pots and pans, dishes, bath-towels are provided. Some beach toys are stored in the laundry room. Our commitment is to offer a very clean and safe accommodation. Besides towels and sheets, bathroom rugs, blankets, comforters, duvets, mattress pads are always washed between guests The garden area is available for guests including the use of the Jacuzzi. Fruits are seasonal and may be picked when ripe. Please ask host. We live on the same property in a second dwelling and we are available for questions or any concerns. My office is located at 2590 Alohia Pl, just below the cottage and is open Mo-Fr 10am - 4pm. The rural setting is very quiet and peaceful. Neighbors are mostly working during the day and enjoy their homes on weekends. There are children in the neighborhood, dogs, cats and a couple of friendly chickens. Haiku Market place is just 10 walking minutes away. There is a large grocery store, restaurants and food cars, souvenir shop and hardware store. The post office is across the street from the market place, a yoga studio, fitness and more restaurants. We recommend renting a car to see all the beautiful places Maui has to offer. The next bus station it is about 10 min. walk away and will take you to Kahului, Ka'ahumanu Shopping Mall. This is the main bus hub. Bus schedules are on Maui County's web page. The Maile Bungalow property is a licensed vacation rental with Maui County. Maximum occupancy is 4 guest including children 2 years and older. Use of the property and home is for registered guests only. Quiet hours are from 9pm to 8am, parking is available for two cars (tandem parking), there is no street parking available. A rental agreement has to be signed within 7 days of booking including pre-check in form requiring a valid credit card in your name. Rates include taxes (17.962%), there are no additional fees. Minimum stay during Holiday Season is 14 days. This is a non-smoking property. 3rd party reservations are not accepted.
