1300 sq/ft 1 bed private duplex with en suite bathroom. A quite peaceful retreat to rejuvenate in nature, away from city, yet only 10 mins to Historic Honokaa town. The house is central north so you can go either side of the island Kona or Hilo & 20 mins to WAIPIO Valley the 2nd most visited spot on island with black sand beach! Experience nature, bamboo in the lush jungle. A one of a kind custom built house with pergola and geodome. We are north so we do not get any VOG and is safe from the volcanic activity with the best air quality all year round. The space is very special it has Asian mid century cabinets and the house is furnished with many asian antiques even the entrance is a large buddha for good energy! You will have the best sleep as the temperature is cooler at night and you get to hear the wild birds and animals at night! Bedroom with en suite with view of the zen courtyard. There's a full kitchen, with new oven and microwave, full size fridge and dishwasher. The entertainment room has a queen size memory foam bed, and the lower area is great for yoga & meditation . My favorite place to come write my vision and rejuvenate. The main road is Lance Armstrongs top 5 places to bike on in the world (from one of his posts) so occasionally you will see bike tours. Lots of coffee farms and orchards near by. We often have vip guest comes stay on retreat to write their book, or to be with nature. Please be mindful of the quite hrs from 9pm-9am to ensure a great stay for every guest. The house is a duplex, the one side is a shared wall to the other side of the house . You will have the whole rental, all private and own entrance. We do have a cottage across the court yard, if you would like to book the whole retreat center for events please let us know. The only draw back are that Hawaii homes the walls do not have insulation because it doesn't get that cold and the walls are thin and you can hear a little through them like hotels. However you are getting a one of kind house for half the price you will pay for a hotel and you get to experience a custom built zen house. Our property manager lives on property if you have questions, she is there if you any assistance! Occasionally we have a security dog that is in a gated area. First put the code in and manually turn to the right and push door open. The same thing for locking it you have to press the code and manually turn it to the left. You have free wifi, private parking, 4K smart TV, dishwasher, pots, pans and dishes! We do not recommend children under 12 unless they are well behaved and can respect the quite hrs of 9pm-8am to be mindful of other guests on Retreat. Unless I'm in town I will not be on property. However if I'm on Island, this is my favorite rental to stay on! My place is so quiet in the forest & jungle, yet only 10 mins to town to restaurants, theatre, pool, pub, groceries, markets, cafe, golfing and shops. Best is the rent a car, big island is very big! Also Hawaii all year is warm there for we do not need insulation in our walls however they are thin the only draw back is that you can hear a little through the walls, please be mindful of the quite hrs from 9pm-9am to ensure a great stay for every guest.
