Enjoy our home in Wilhelmina Rise, a quiet and breezy neighborhood nestled on a hillside in Kaimuki, Honolulu! Our house is an ideal retreat for visitors who want easy access to all that Oahu has to offer but without being inundated by the hustle and bustle of the city. In addition to being a brief drive away from most notable attractions, there are several great restaurants just 5 minutes away. 3rd bedroom is set up as an office; can convert to bedroom with a twin mattress. 29-night minimum. The space Our house has an old school, minimalist style and is nestled in the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. We have very comfortable beds and a bright living room with a couch, chairs, and a TV. There is a full kitchen with appliances, and a dining table. Our backyard has two large mango trees, pleasant greenery, and an outdoor shower. There is a washer and dryer out back. Two private parking spots in the front. The beds will be made with fresh linens, and clean towels will be provided. After that, if you're staying for a while, it's your responsibility to run them through the washer and dryer in the back of the house. The fully equipped office may be converted into a bedroom with sufficient notice. The office includes a fully adjustable standing desk, Dell Ultrasharp 4K monitor, webcam, speakers, ring light, and Herman Miller Embody office chair. Perfect for working remotely. In the mornings, you will be greeted by the calls of a variety of birds that live in the area. It is generally pleasant—no roosters crowing, etc.—but noted here for your awareness. You will likely see many lizards and geckos outside the house. Occasionally, some of the smaller geckos will make their way inside. Like the ones outside, they are completely harmless. We do treat for ants on a regular basis but it's impossible to eliminate them completely. As such, take care to avoid leaving out food and drink out for extended periods of time, and try to wash dishes promptly. Items that are kept in the fridge or completely sealed should be safe. There is a security camera on the exterior of the house, facing the entrance of the driveway. Due to local laws and regulations, a 29-night minimum stay is required. Guest access The entire house interior is accessible, except for a few closets used for storage. Other things to note We do not have cable TV but we have all of the major streaming apps such as Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime. If early check-in is desired, please ask for permission prior to your stay. It is not always available, and it may require an additional fee up to $160.
