•NO CLEANING FEES ADDED! Our home is in a country setting just 15 min. from West Monroe & I-20 (restaurants and activities). There are small stores and gas stations in our neighborhood. •Your primary accommodations: BEDROOM, QUEEN bed with an EN-SUITE PRIVATE FULL BATH (tub/shower) and access/use of commonly shared spaces within the home. •Guests access: via door code. •You may choose to interact with my husband and me, or you may come and go as you please. We welcome all company! Each bedroom has its own private en-suite full bath. Plus there is a half-bath in the hall that is easily accessed by the guest bedroom. We offer some extra amenities, such as shampoo, lotion, soap, tissue, etc. (Just ask if you forgot something because I usually keep a supply!) There is a coffeemaker in the bedroom, as well as in the kitchen. Closet space and empty drawers are provided. Guests can come and go as they like through the front door, and there is an exit through the garage. We can offer discounts for persons who wish to reserve extended stays. We provide a continental breakfast with choices of cereal, oatmeal, muffins, pastries, fruit, milk, etc. The breakfast is self-serve on your own time. Guests also have access to the kitchen/den area with breakfast seating, board games, kitchen appliances, and tv. There is also a spacious outdoor deck for relaxing or enjoying nature and a swing set for children. We want to give our guests space, but we are available to offer information or socialize as needed. We can provide free information on touring/traveling in the twin-cities area of Monroe/West Monroe. We may not be home the entire time guests are here, but we are easily accessible by phone. We hope to be home during your check-in time. Ours is a quiet neighborhood. There are children that live here, but there are never disturbances. We are almost like living at the edge of town. All of the houses in this area are well-kept, and the lawns are groomed. Guests sometimes enjoy walking in the neighborhood, and our street ends in a cul-de-sac. West Monroe does not offer public transportation, although Monroe does offer some. Uber and Lyft are becoming popular. Most attractions are within driving distance. The communities offer a wide-range of shopping and restaurants. We can also provide more information on that. (See our online guest book.) We enjoy hosting guests in our spare room and look forward to meeting new people. We do have a cat that is sometimes indoors. The cat is not allowed in the guest bedrooms.
