Cabin #4 is a Historic mountain cabin built in the late 1940's. Cozy, and plenty of old school charm. Open only during summer months. Other things to note Cabin # 4 at the Big Moose Resort is 3 miles east of Cooke City MT. You can access us by coming out the NE gate of Yellowstone Park, 7 miles east of entrance. You can access us via US highway 212 from Red Lodge MT over the Beartooths, 3 miles east of Cooke City. When Beartooth is closed due to weather a such you can travel from Billings to Belfry Mt to Wyoming border on highway 72, highway then changes to 120, in 20 miles turn right onto Chief Joseph Scenic Highway 296.
