Bring your swimsuit, everything else you need is already here. Our guest house is the perfect location, close to the beach and Kailua town. A large one bedroom guest house with its own private entrance, secure parking, kitchenette and washer & dryer. Enjoy the priceless sunrises from your own lanai, or grab a bike and take a ride to the beach. Afterwards cool off with a Maitai at one of Kailua's many restaurants and cafes. The guest house is located above the covered parking area. Guests will need to climb a flight of stairs to access the unit. It’s elevated location allows for amazing views of the sunrise from your private lanai. The kitchenette includes a sink, fridge, microwave, hot plates, griddle, coffee maker, rice cooker, toaster oven and a blender. The bathroom has a full-sized tub/shower. An outdoor shower is available behind the house to rinse off sand and salt water from the beach. The guest house has a Roku Player. Using your personal cable or other login/subscriptions you can enjoy your favorite TV channels and shows as well as access Netflix, HBO GO, Showtime, etc. Guests can access the property 24 hrs a day via keypad. We live on the property and are available 24/7 via call or text and feel free to just come down and knock on our door. Escape the hustle, bustle and crowds of Waikiki to one of Hawaii’s best beach towns. Surrounded by the beautiful steep Ko’olau on one side and Kailua Bay on the other Kailua is consistently named one of the worlds best destinations. Kailua Beach arcs in powdery white-sand splendor for 2 1/2 miles. The gentle ocean drop-off from shore makes it perfect for swimming, bodysurfing, and surfing, and a steady trade wind also makes it ideal for windsurfing. Visitors and residents love Kailua Beach Park, a convenient base with parking, shady groves of ironwood trees, and nearby vendors renting all kinds of watercraft. Just down the road is Lanikai Beach with its crystalline waters. Don’t miss the view here of moonrise behind the famed Na Mokulua Islands, better known as the Mokes. The weekly Kailua Farmers' Markets selling local produce and goods are a must do. Our guest house is approximately 1 mile to the beach (Kalama Beach Park) and 1 mile to the center of Kailua town. Both are a quick 4 minute drive or you can jump on one of our bikes for a flat 6 minute ride. Getting around Kailua is extremely easy, you will see many people walking and riding bikes around town. If you plan on exploring the island outside of Kailua, it is recommended that you have a car. Children are welcome and a pack & play is available in the unit. Please be aware that all children (including those under 2 years old count as a guest). The sofa converts into a queen size bed. Kailua is a residential neighborhood and we ask that guests be respectful of the neighborhood and keep excessive noise to a minimum after 10:00 pm. This property may not be rented for less than 30 consecutive days. Rental prices will not be reduced or adjusted based on the number of days the rental is actually used or occupied.
