Our unit is #227 in building #35. It is a top floor, one bedroom condo, with a lofted ceiling. The bedroom has a king size bed and the living room couch converts to a comfortable queen size bed. The condo sleeps four people with extra sleeping arrangements upon request. The large private lanai looks over gardens and mature trees with a beautiful partial ocean view. There are two lounge chairs plus a table with seating for four for a morning Kauai coffee, evening cocktail, glass of wine or a meal The Condo is perfect for 2 adults, children are welcome and can sleep comfortably on the pull out living room sofa bed. Fees: a 17.42% Hawaii Tax is included in the quoted price $255 Checkout Cleaning Fee is additional. And for each 10 night stay, a mid-week cleaning of $69 is required by the resort, so That can be paid directly to Castle Resorts at Checkout! Airbnb doesn't have the capability to automatically include the fee(s). Minimum stay is 5 nights except between other booked reservations. Our on-site management is available 7 am - 7pmh daily. You check in like a hotel, and the friendly Castle Resorts staff is always available to help with things to do, directions and reservations. We also provide additional concierge services through our Personal Concierge Services. Our guests have full complimentary access to the Poipu Beach Athletic Club ( across the street) with aerobic equipment, weight training machines, tennis & pickle ball courts, classes and pool. Kiahuna also a laundry facility on the grounds near the condo. Excellent restaurants and casual food outlets are easy walking and driving from your condo. Starbucks and a local coffee stand are a 2 minute walk. Castle Resorts is our on-site management company. They are very knowledgeable about the local area and the whole island. They are available for our guests 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Your condo is located in Kiahuna Plantation at Poipu Beach on the south shore of Kauai. The southern part of the island is known for sunny days and great breezes and Kiahuna is considered the area’s premier beach-front rental property, the only resort in Poipu with its own white sand beach. Kiahuna Plantation is a classic Hawaiian Plantation. It is a 35 acre Paradise of sprawling lawns, lush tropical gardens, lily ponds, a private lagoon and the largest orchid garden in Hawaii. The resort is a throwback to the simpler time of Hawaii's plantation past and provides the classic Hawaiian setting for your stay on the island. Your condo is well located within the Plantation and is easy walking distance to the beach, pool, gym, tennis, restaurants, and shopping. There are a number of great restaurants nearby. On the plantation, the historic plantation manager’s cottage built in 1930 is now the location of the Plantation Gardens Restaurant. Red Salt at the Koa Kea is about a 5 minute walk through the plantation. Across the street is Poipu Village Shopping Center with shops, Whaler's Convenience Market, Kioke's Paradise Restaurant, Starbucks and other restaurants. A short drive west on Poipu Road and you'll arrive Kukui'ula Village center an upscale center with great shops and some of Kauai's best restaurants. There is limited public transportation on the island and some public transportation in the Poipu area. a limited taxi service is available but the waits can be long. Uber and Lyft areavailable but somewhat ilmited. We recommend a car to maximize your Kauai experience! From Kiahuna Plantation many activities are easy walking distance, but many attractions and activities require a car. Your condo is fully stocked with all the necessities for you to enjoy the space as if it were your own home. If you like to cook in a full supply of pots, pans, utensils, dishes, glasses,etc. are available for your use. The guests closet stocks many leisure items such as body boards, ice chests, beach chairs to save you time and help you enjoy your stay to the fullest. There are two TV's - one in the living area and one in the bedroom. The living room TV has a DVD hooked up to it. There is a portable CD / blue tooth player / WI FI connectable speaker, if you wish to enjoy personal music from your phone or tablet. The bedroom's king size bed is clean and comfortable. On the lanai two comfortable lounge chairs are available for your enjoyment - a great place to read, relax and take in the view. The bar height table and chairs take advantage of the ocean and garden views. Along with the views because the condo is a top floor unit, while sitting on the lanai you can enjoy the cooling gentle ocean breezes!
