This apartment is an ideal location in close walking distance to the harbor, the Atlantica, Cohasset Harbor Inn, the Red lion Inn. Great alternative if you are in town for a wedding as you can walk to all the churches and major venues. Also a short walk from the town dock and the charming village. Also perfect for the triathlon and Arts Festival. The building is set at the rear of our property where we also have our house, a renovated farmhouse (see view from apartment). It is located on a quiet family street. The interior of the apartment is renovated, light and airy with wide pine floors. New appliances were all installed within the past two years. We will soon begin to upgrade the exterior. We will take photos as soon as our guests vacate ... Should have them by June 1. Guests will have access to the downstairs storage area where there is laundry. We are available by phone and email. Usually we will be living in the main house and can assist with getting settled as well as suggestions for excursions, restaurants and even babysitters. If we are not present there will be someone who is nearby who can help out. The proximity to the harbor and village is why we love our spot! The walking and biking from the apartment is incredible and will take you along some of the most picturesque New England scenery. The neighborhood is a family neighborhood, first settled by Portuguese lobsterman at the end of the 19th century. Some fourth generation families still live on the street. The commuter rail station is a 5 min drive and will bring you to Boston South Station in about 35 min. Alternately, the ferry boat terminal is a 12-15 min drive in the neighboring town of Hingham. This brings you into downtown Boston in about 35 min.
