You will get the entire 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment to yourself! If you’re looking for a simple, clean, safe space in a great location, with 1 free parking spot (in attached garage) that is family friendly (crib & highchair available) then look no further! My place is a 6 minute walk from the USS Constitution & the Charlestown Ferry is 5 minute walk away, which takes you to downtown Boston in 10 minutes! The Ferry runs year round in rain, snow and shine. Message me with any questions. The space Welcome to historic Charlestown! Charlestown is a neighborhood in Boston. The Navy Yard (where my apartment is) is a small section of Charlestown, which is down by the Boston Harbor waterfront. See my photos to get a good idea of how close my apartment is to the water, downtown Boston and it’s proximity to all Boston has to offer. My apartment offers the best of both worlds! Close to downtown, but far enough away from all the crowdedness, traffic, and noise of the city. Plus you get the ocean breeze, boardwalk, and one free parking spot in the attached garage. The apartment unit has a private entrance so you don’t need to interact with other guests, or commonly touched places i.e elevators, front entrance doors, etc. The only door you will need to touch is my apartment door. THE SPACE: Bedroom 1: 1 Queen bed. Bedroom 2: Two Twin beds. 2 bathrooms (1 bathroom has a tub, 1 bathroom has a walk in shower) GETTING AROUND: You can easily walk the Freedom Trail right into downtown Boston (2 of the 16 stops on the Freedom Trail are located in Charlestown.) The Freedom Trail is a 5 minute walk from my apartment and it is a 2.5 miles long, and it goes throughout Boston (see my pictures for list of all the stops on The Freedom Trail). The two stops that are in Charlestown are 1) USS Constitution 2) Bunker Hill Monument. I HIGHLY recommend taking the 10 minute scenic Charlestown Ferry right into downtown Boston (which runs year round). The ferry dock is a 5 minute walk from my apartment, and the ferry drops you off at Long Wharf (right where the New England Aquarium is). From there, you can easily walk to The North End, Seaport District, Faneuil Hall/Quincy Market, Boston Public Garden, and all of Boston’s main attractions. The Charlestown Ferry tickets are $3.70 one way, seniors (over 65 years old) are $1.85 one way, and kids under 11 are free . Weekday Ferry Schedule: First trip is at 6:45am and the last trip is 8:15pm. It runs every 15-30 minutes: Weekend Saturday & Sunday Ferry Schedule: First trip is at 10:15 am, and the last trip is at 6:15pm. It runs every 30 minutes. AVAILABLE : -Crib available (not a pack n play, it's an actual wooden crib) -Crib mattress available -Crib sheet available -High Chair available -Iron & Iron Board available -Free-Wi-Fi - SMART TV & Basic cable -Washer & Dryer (not inside my apartment, but inside the building) -Central Air Conditioning throughout the whole apartment, during Summer months. FYI: The entire building switches from Heat to Air Condition in the month of May. I have a fan at the apartment, and if we do get a warm day in April, open the windows and get a nice ocean breeze! This has not been an issue for previous guests, but I just want to make it clear, that both AC and HEAT cannot run at the same time in our entire building. CHECKING IN: I will message you a few days before you arrive to tell you check-in instructions, parking info, and the LOCK BOX code.
