Downtown Hilo on the Bay. This property sits on Kalanianaole Park which is on Hilo Bay. The Ice Pond is next door and connects to the ocean. Close to town, just 2 miles from the airport close to shopping and restaurants. We are in a busy area and there is noise but the location is convenient and the house is well equipped. If you are sensitive to noise this is not your house. If you want charm on the ponds of Hilo this is your house! Waterfront, brackish ponds and a park. This house was newly renovated by a long time Hilo family. This is a two bedroom house with a very large lanai area for entertaining family and friends. The dinning area is on the lanai which can easily seat 6-8 people. You may access the whole house. There is a laundry room downstairs which you may use. We live on island not too far from property in case any issues arise. You may call text us anytime. Our phone numbers are in the manual in the house. The home is in Kalanianaole Park on the water close to Hilo town. Start the day walking along the bay and seeing the beautiful parks and gardens. Head into town to dine at delicious local restaurants and see sites like the Tsunami Clock of Doom. Easy to bike or to walk anywhere from this house. There is limited bus service. We do not have any cameras on the property but we do have to fake cameras on the outside of the house to deter people from the park wandering into our yard. They look real but are not real.
