We have restored and repurposed an authentic barn silo, making it a one-of-a-kind stay you'd have a hard time finding anywhere else in the world! There is so much to see and do near Silo on the Ridge! We are located just outside of beautiful Decorah, Iowa where you can float the Upper Iowa River, bring your bike and ride the new 11 mile trail, visit the Trout Hatchery and sit and watch the our world famous Eagles Nest, or visit our award winning local breweries...to name a few. The Silo is surrounded by some of the best fishing and hunting in the country and there is lots to see and do in the nearby small towns and countryside. Decorah as an affordable taxi service. Our only disappointed guests have been the ones who were unfamiliar with what a barn silo actually is. It's the round structure attached to a barn that holds grain and feed for the farm animals. We've made all layout and design choices in order to get the most efficient use of the space.
