This is the perfect unit for 1-2 guest exploring the Big Island! We've fitted it with thoughtful amenities, so that you feel comfortable and at home! Walking distance to shops, dining, museums and more! The space The Lobin-Hung building was constructed in 1926 and comprised of 40+ units, some of which are local businesses (fronting the building). The entrance is only accessible by key, and the gate is kept closed at all times. Security cameras are at the main entrance and in common walkways. Besides a few local businesses, the apartment complex is home to a variety of tenants, from singles to small families. We are definitely a melting pot! Our unit features: -ceiling fan -"rock like" laminate flooring in the bathroom -kitchen counter and vanity -microwave -electric skillet/pan -12 cup coffee pot -mini fridge -smart TV -bathroom vanity We do supply plates, cups and utensils; however the unit does not come with a stove/oven. It is the perfect base camp. Rest comfortably on a full-size mattress. Fresh & clean linens and a light quilt make for a cool comfortable night's sleep. Please note there is NO AC. There is however a ceiling fan, with an additional fan in the unit for your comfort. Quarters are close, and your windows gives views into the apartment complexes open courtyard. During the day you may see and hear our children playing with their cousins. We have chosen to homeschool our keiki giving us more flexibility as host and owners of Grace Kickboxing Academy which is located in the store front of the complex. Let us know if you're interested in any of our classes! and it may get a bit noisy- but rest assured, as the evening approaches, they are ushered into the house! *** GUEST WITH SERVICE ANIMALS WE KINDLY ASK THAT YOU DISCLOSE . We have chairs in the entryway to the courtyard. Your welcome to take a break- however there is no smoking allowed in the units or within the apartment complex. There is a outside water hose you can use to rinse off your feet or items after a day of exploring. It’s located in the open courtyard area. It will be on your right side along the wood fence (near the surfboards.) Other things to note Directions to the Airbnb (given prior to check in) are the designated areas for our guest as to ensure the quickest way to and from the unit. This helps to ensure their privacy and the privacy of other tenants as well. We provide a gate key and a unit key for your stay. The gate key is a special-order item and costly to replace. If either key is lost, a $100 replacement fee will be charged ($75 for the gate key and $25 for the unit key).
