We care cleanliness as our priority because this is a shared B&B with 5 guest rooms. 2 ‘Safety’ is very important factor on your travel. Guest have their own room keys to lock their room for safety. Also, 2 of our staffs are always on site downstairs, and quick to response to anything you notice during your stay. 3 Quietness’ is another factor we cherish. Good night sleep is precious especially after you arrived late flight from Airport or come back from adventures all around the island. We set our ‘Quiet time’ at 10:30pm. This means staff will turn off the light at common area at 10:30pm and guests can relax in their own rooms. 4 ’Beautiful Tropic Yard’ We have a yard that is almost hundred years old, which is like an oasis in the area. - Our B&B is a two story house. All the 5 Guest rooms are upstairs so please note that there is a stair to enter the entrance. - Staffs are always on site downstairs and responsive to those who need some help during their stay. Please call us on our phone number or message us and we will be there in less than 5 minutes. - On the second floor, there are 5 rooms, couch area, dining area, 1 full bath and 1 half bath. When there are no other guests, you can use them freely. When there are guests, please be considerate of others. Host or cleaning lady be in downstairs. Let us know when you are around. Though the listing says this b&b is for "Women and family", sometimes we as hosts may host male guests too. For your reference, we kindly ask you to keep in mind for that. If you're a woman and would like a hand by another woman, our female staff is always able to assist you. - This room is in between bathroom & Kitchen so please note that there might be some noise when other guests are using those areas. - Our B&B is a two story house. Also, there might be some noise from neighborhood since it is located between other residence. -Entrance, Bathrooms, Kitchen Area (NO table top stove), Outside table, Parking area are shared with other guests. (as a Hawaii state certified bnb we are not allowed to have flammable things in guest area so we do not have table top stove but we have microwave, toaster oven, water purifier, coffee machine, hot water kettle, and refrigerator for guests so guest can prepare easy meal) -There are 2 recording devices on at the guest area, one is at the front door, and the other one is at the dining area as a safeguard. - We can accept your luggage before check in for early arrival, and also able keep them after check out. Please let us know. Our place is located in the residential area in Hilo. Your room is facing our yard and next to the yard lives our neighbor. We have free parking on site. Please be mindful that it is shared with other guests. Best way to get around Big Island of Hawaii is to rent a car because this island is bigger than any other Hawaiian islands. We highly recommend using UBER App for those who do not rent a car on the island. You can walk about 20 minutes to get downtown, Kuhio mall from this place. The public transport system in Hawaii is called the “hele-on bus”, which freely translated means the “ready-go bus”! The standard fee for the Hele-on bus is $2.00 per ride. The number of bus or the area of operation is limited, so we recommend checking the schedule beforehand if bus suits your needs. This is a small room (10ft X 9ft) with a full size bed located between the living room and the bathroom so sounds may intrude when in use. This room is suited for person traveling alone or woman who is looking for a clean and lower price to stay and does not mind some noise. This is a licensed short-term vacation rental and no full oven stove is allowed in the guest area under the State of Hawaii law. Washing machine ($3), Dryer ($5) are available between 7:00am-10:00pm. There is clothes hanging space outside. We might charge you extra fees in case any of the following occurs. -stained bed sheets or towels with blood food, cosmetics, urine and vomit,etc. to the point we cannot -remove with regular washing/cleaning; -broke any of the equipment in the property; -lost or did not return the keys($10) House Rules Not suitable for children (2-12 years) Not suitable for infants (under 2 years) Not suitable for pets No smoking No parties or events Quiet time is from 10:30pm~7:00am Please keep in mind that you CLOSE and LOCK THE KEYS (both your room and the front door) when you leave the house even if it is for a short time.
