Cozy one bedroom second floor apartment nestled in a quiet friendly neighborhood. Original 1800s woodwork with modern touches perfectly balances old and new, a reflection of our historic town. A short walk to great restaurants, museums, cafes, farm to table bistros and local pubs. The space This is a charming, furnished 1 bedroom apartment. Our property is 100% NON SMOKING/NON VAPING etc • Private second story porch: The apartment is accessed through a second story porch, so you MUST CLIMB STAIRS to reach the apartment. Our guests love having their own private porch where you can enjoy the quiet neighborhood from the wicker furniture. • Cozy bedroom: queen sized bed, closet, hardwood floors. • Kitchen: Essentials provided - plates, cookware, basic cooking utensils. We provide an assortment of teas and Mt Hagen organic fair trade instant coffee packets. We love them! • Private Bathroom: Take a nice soak in the original claw foot tub. • The apartment is 3 rooms: bedroom, eat-in kitchen, and bathroom. There is NO LIVING ROOM or living room furniture such as a sofa or easy chair. However, there is a loveseat on the porch which is delightful in pleasant weather. If you are hoping for a place with a sofa etc. this is not the right place. It’s a cozy apartment but big enough for two! • Private entrance, on-street parking • WIFI • Air conditioning (window unit in kitchen, available mid-May to end of September-ish) • 10 minute walk to Amherst College or UMass • 10 minute drive to Hampshire College • 5 minute walk to cafes, bookstores, & pubs Guest access Guests have their own private second floor porch which is the entrance to the apartment. The apartment is attached to our home where we live, however it shares no walls with the living areas of our home so you'll have quiet and privacy! Other things to note PLEASE NOTE: Absolutely NO SMOKING OR VAPING of ANYTHING in the apartment, on the property, near any of my neighbors’ properties, or on the street in front of any of my neighbors’ homes. If you need to smoke, this is not a good option for you.
