Light & airy 2 bedrooms, two bath in town, master bath has whirlpool tub, near restaurants, shops, groceries and theater, sleeps 5, fully equiped kitchen, crock pot, pressure cooker, blender, etc., queen size bed, wireless internet, washer/dryer, BBQ in back yard, garage, perfect location between Hilo and Kona, close to Waipio Valley, no fog. The pictures do not do justice to the beautiful ocean view. Sitting in the back yard with the BBQ and the ocean breeze blowing is heavenly. The bedrooms are small but the living/dining area is large, light and airy. The master bath has a whirlpool tub. Both toilets have bidet attachments for better personal hygiene. No airconditioning or central heat but they are rarely needed. Each room has a ceiling fan and with the windows all open, the air circulation is great. There is a small portable heater if needed in the winter. With free wireless internet and the HD TV you can watch your Netflix, Amazon or other servces. You can walk to the theater, shops, farmers market and grocery store. Beach towels are available for your use. Pack N Play & Umbroller available upon request. Possible noise from coquis and neighbors rosters. Quiet hours are from 9:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., during which time the noise should not unreasonably disturb the neighbors. Sound that is audible beyond the property boundaries during non-quiet hours shall not be more excessive than would be otherwise associated with a residential area. Lock box allows guests to arrive at any time. Our housekeeper/manager lives near by and can usually help with any emergency that might arise. Our house is in town, one block from the main street. A tropical gulch is on one side and a neighbor's house on the other side and the beautiful ocean view from the back yard. The Town of Honokaa has almost everything you might want. The Honokaa Peoples Theater beside showing movies has live music and cultural events. It is best to have a rental car if you really want to see all that the island has to offer but there is a bus that will take you to Kona or Hilo. No taxi/cab service or Uber/Lyft will bring you out to Honokaa. Biclycle rentals are available in Waimea and tours can be arranged. Absolutely not parties. If you use the BBQ, please make sure to clean it before you leave. If you are staying more than one week, you will need to take your recycling and trash to the transfer station on Plumeria Street because the housekeeper will not come around and there is no trash collection on most of the island. $20 to replace missing beach towels and $10 for lost keys. No pets, no drugs, no parties, no smoking.
